I was really nervous just before going into surgery because it was my first time ever having any kind of procedure. However, Mr Kadri Ila was incredibly kind and reassuring, which immediately made me feel much calmer. During the consultation, he listened carefully to what I wanted, while also giving honest advice about what would and wouldn’t suit my face. I really appreciated that he balanced my wishes with his professional opinion. My goal was to achieve a nose that better balanced my facial features, with refinement of the bridge and tip, and he explained everything clearly. The nurses were also wonderful. They were very attentive and kind, frequently checking on me after the surgery and making sure I was comfortable throughout the recovery process. So far my recovery has been smooth. I’ve only experienced swelling, very minimal bruising, and little discomfort overall. At the moment, everything seems to be healing well, although I am only about a week post-operation. Based on my experience so far, I’m really grateful for the care and support I received from Mr Kadri Ila and the team.

I came all the way from the US. I had a facelift, neck lift, and temporal lift, and later added lip fillers. I’m extremely satisfied with everything. I had my rhinoplasty done here a while ago. I’m genuinely happy with the whole experience. The doctor explained everything clearly before the surgery, and the team made me feel very comfortable throughout the process. My recovery was smoother than I expected, with minimal swelling and no major pain. The final result looks natural and fits my face really well. Very happy with my mummy makeover. I had an uplift with inplants. 360 tummy tuck with butt lift. A small amount of lipo was taken out and added to my hips to make an hourglass shape. When arriving at the hospital, Gizemnur was there to greet us and translate everything and make sure I was happy with everything before going down to surgery. Dr Koken made sure to talk me through and explain what I needed pre-surgery. After surgery, the hospital staff treated us well. The doctor was doing regular checks on me.

Prof. Stajcic and the nurses at the clinic are especially careful, kind, and professional. I had a chondrolaryngoplasty. I was especially really worried about possible damage to vocal cords, but Prof. Stajcic was really calm about it and explained that there is no substantial risk. My Adam's apple was huge, and I was cautioned that even after surgery,y there will be a slight bulge, and so it is, but still the pointy, obviously male part is gone, and my dysphoria has gotten way better. I had a quick and easy recovery, and three months later, only a thin pink line is left at the incision site, which I am treating with ointments. Even months later, Prof. Stajcic messaged me to ask whether everything was fine. He is a kind man with a sense of humour. For whoever chooses this clinic, I have to warn you that it is on the last floor of a residential building, which gives a scary impression at first. However, after entering, the clinic itself is clean and very well-equipped, and the staff is very professional. Being in Eastern Europe, prices are much more affordable than in Western countries, while the quality does not seem to be any less. Last but not least, any surgery is a risk, and as a trans person myself, I want to urge all people to only undergo surgeries they are sure about. However, if you do decide on a tracheal shave, I think you will be in good hands at Prof. Stajcic's. Aleks - November 2025

Roux en y bypass In January 2025 I travelled to Turkey for a gastric sleeve, the morning of the operation I had extensive testing done and it found I had a condition called Barrett’s esophagus. Dr Tahir would not sleeve me as dangerous so he gave me all my options I travelled home to think about my options and travelled back in July 25 and had a full bypass. The service received was absolutely second to none. I am still in touch with staff and know I can reach out at anytime to Dr Tahir and my question would be answered the same day. I believe other surgeons would have possibly done the sleeve but Dr Tahir gave me my money back and told me to go home and think about what I needed to do. I honestly think he has saved my life as my Barrett’s is caused by silent reflux and I would have never known I had it until possibly to late.

If I could give the Centre for Surgery a million stars I would! The whole process from the phone call, consultation and surgery itself was absolutely seamless and couldn’t gone better. In my initial consultation, he explained absolutely everything I needed to know and I had no questions as he had already answered them all. He is not only an expert in what he does but he is such a kind and caring person who will help put anyone at ease. A huge shoutout to the nurses who were there by my side throughout the whole process. I was so anxious and yet they are all so kind and looked after me so well. And a massive shoutout to the anaesthetist who calmed me down and made me laugh. Thank you so much to the reception team for answering all my questions and being so kind and informative! I’m one of those people who are quite difficult to calm down when I’m anxious and yet everyone genuinely calmed me down and made me feel reassured and looked after. They really did go above and beyond! I have my check-up consultation next week but I couldn’t help to write a review immediately because of how perfect the whole process has been. I’ve had other consultations previously from Harley Street and nothing has come close to how incredible the whole team are here. If anyone is doing their research into where to have surgery I will recommend the Centre for Surgery immediately. I felt like I was in such safe hands. Thank you all so much I am so grateful!

I found this doctor on WhatClinic while I was visiting Albania as a tourist. I had always heard that Albanian women are very beautiful, so I became curious and thought I should at least consult with a local surgeon to see what might suit my face. I didn’t plan on doing anything major since my husband and I were only staying for two weeks. Her clinic is in Tirana, right next to the Air Albania Stadium, and the view from there is incredible. The clinic itself completely surprised me. I’m an architect, and honestly, I rarely see medical spaces designed this well. It’s modern, extremely clean, beautifully organised, and the whole atmosphere feels calm and professional. The staff were also very kind and welcoming. When I met the doctor, I immediately felt comfortable. She speaks perfect English, and I later learned she studied and lived in the United States. She’s quite young but clearly very respected while I was there. I met a few of her patients, and they were all speaking very highly of her. During my consultation, she said I was a good candidate for her “Baby Eye” technique. I had never heard of it, and at first I was hesitant because I wasn’t planning to have surgery. She took time to explain everything carefully and showed me many before-and-after results. What convinced me was that it’s a minimally invasive procedure done under local anaesthesia. The procedure took about 30 minutes, and I felt almost nothing. The result honestly surprised me. When I returned home, people kept asking if I had changed something; they said I looked fresher, younger, happier. Now I understand the name “Baby Eye”; it really softens the eyes in a very natural way. She truly has an artistic eye and very gifted hands. I rarely write reviews, but this experience deserved one. If I ever decide to have a facelift in the future, I would absolutely fly back to Albania to have it done by her.
