I am writing a review so that others may benefit from learning further about my septo-rhinoplasty experience organised and orchestrated by Dr Andaç Aykan and his team. I am from the UK originally but lived in Turkey for nine years previously. I was fully aware of the scale of the health tourism sector, but did not know where to start looking when considering surgery options in Istanbul. Having exhausted UK package possibilities (I did not feel comfortable knowing that some surgeons are performing multiple surgeries in a day, the incessant ‘special offers,’ and the mixed results.) By word of mouth and recommendation I heard of Dr. Aykan, having had several previous in-person consultations. In my case I was not looking for a drastic change in my appearance and my main aim was to find a surgeon able to proceed without artistic license! Keeping in mind, I am a person who does not like change and whom struggles even with hairstyle differences. The combined recommendation, reviews, clinic, technology, Doctor and team made my decision very easy. Where other Doctors had sketched or tried to explain expected changes to my nose incoherently, Dr Aykan used 3D vectra imaging to portray an expected result, using the angles of my face to develop a nose with the best fit for my face and other features. Furthermore, after assessing my nose internally (whilst showing me onscreen) he provided a ready printed document and was able to illustrate how my septum deviated and necessary structural changes to allow me to breathe more freely. Dr Aykan speaks perfect English and was able to articulate and address all of my concerns - of which I had a list of questions to resolve. I had not anticipated my peak in anxiety the day before and day of the surgery and I felt that this was completely understood and acknowledged. I felt that Dr Aykan offset my anxiety and nerves through his calm, steadfast and intellectual demeanour. Overall I can say instinctively that I felt that Dr. Aykan would not do me a disservice and I felt throughout the process that I was able to trust fully in the Doctor to achieve the result I had requested. When I had any doubts in the months before the surgery, I always returned to the position that, ‘this is the surgeon who can execute the optimal result.’ On the day of the surgery, everything went smoothly and I woke up to the sound of Şevval’s voice (the Dr’s Assistant), who expressed that everything had gone well. I later saw the Doctor in the hospital room and was able to share that my breathing was much improved, even as of Day 1! The hospital room itself was really lovely and my boyfriend was able to stay next to me on a fold out sofa. The nurses were incredible and throughout the night attentively put ice on my eyes every one hour. I was not able to express my immense gratitude easily after the surgery but they really impressed me and made a huge difference to the overall experience and in my speedy recovery - whereby I happened to have a deficit of bruising and only a minimal 3 days of discomfort. Fast forward to the result and I could not be happier. Leaving the clinic I have already fully accepted my new nose and can really see how it has enhanced my appearance. I am also benefiting from the real results of the septoplasty, in every breath I take. I am excited to see the results transform and become even more outstanding in the upcoming few months, once swelling reduces. I am looking forward to future engagements when photos will showcase the true artistry of Dr Aykan and when my confidence will be boosted by this stunning, understated and natural minor modification to my look. I found Dr. Tolga on Instagram and really liked his work so I decided to have him as my doctor for nose surgery. I contacted many doctors but I found Dr Tolga better than them all. He was really good at explaining the whole process when I first time contacted him on WhatsApp. The first time when I went for the first appointment I really liked how intelligent he is, was really good at explaining and listened to me carefully about how I want my nose to look like. I liked the assistant Gulsum so much she was such a great girl and helped us so much. I want to thank Dr Tolga and Gulsum so much for everything. I am really happy with the result and love my nose.

The whole experience has been very pleasant. From the first call to discuss my breast augmentation and lift to post op, Dr Muge was professional, kind, listening and very understanding. Always responsive and the results have been great. Even still a minor touch being assessed, I am very happy with the surgery; nice scars, and I am glad Dr Muge had a good judgement on deciding the implant size. The hospital was very nice I would definitely recommend it!

I had eyelid surgery to correct a drooping eyelid. I could not fault the experience in any way. The consultation was clear, and the actual surgery was as explained. The follow-up calls and responses were almost immediate. Pleased with the result. Finally, the translator was exceptional and nothing was too much trouble. No hesitation in recommending.

From start to finish my experience was nothing less than excellent, the Hospital very clean and modern, the staff were truly amazing and very helpful although not much English spoken we deffinatley managed to understand each other. The communication from making initial enquiries to the aftercare has been excellent and very accommodating for my hair transplant. I have especially found Sanem and Dr Baytekin very friendly and informative and made me feel very comfortable and at ease during my procedure. The clinic was very clean and immaculate. I chose this clinic as my sister had a separate procedure at the clinic and came highly recommended.

I am delighted to share my remarkable experience with Dr. Osodowska and her entire team. At 47 years old, I've long struggled with stubborn fat on my upper back, a "flat pancake" behind, and a hanging belly. For as long as I can recall, I've felt insecure about my body and lacked confidence. I discovered Dr. Osodowska on Instagram and followed her work for over two years. I contacted her early on, but at that time, I was unable to proceed with the procedure. My time there was truly exceptional. Dr. Osodowska herself was incredibly friendly and professional. I even cried when I finally met her; I simply couldn't believe it was actually happening after my first phone consultation! I travelled over 7 hours by train, and although I had other options, I deliberately chose Dr. Osodowska. Her work is beautiful and delivers natural-looking results. I had my first lymphatic massage, and the owner remarked she had never seen a better job in her entire career. My only regret is not getting this procedure sooner. I will forever be grateful for her extraordinary work. Dr. Osodowska is truly a remarkable doctor, woman, and an incredible artist.

I decided at the age of 50 to have breast implants and was recommended by Mr Awf Quaba who specialised in this field. My operation took place at the Murrayfield Spire and I was well looked after before and after my operation. Unfortunately, 4 years on I was getting breast implant illness symptoms, I was in a lot of discomfort in the breast area, had hair thinning, anxiety, ocular migraine headaches and developed an autoimmune disease which had to be treated. After reading about BII I decided in 2021 to see Mr Quaba once again to get his advice. I must say he was very understanding and told me the pros and cons of getting a full capsulectomy which removes the implants and capsules surrounding them. In October 2021 I was booked into the Shawfair Spire Hospital and Mr Quaba performed by full capsulectomy which was very successful. 6 months down the line I am feeling so much better with no breast pain, my hair has got thicker and no ocular migraine headaches. I am also down to 2mg of steroids and my neck and shoulder pain has almost gone with my scars hardly visible. I can honestly say Mr Quaba has looked after me so well and I would highly recommend anyone who is considering explant surgery to seek advice from such a professional. These are not cheap procedures but all in all, it was well worth the money to get my health back!
