I am writing a review so that others may benefit from learning further about my septo-rhinoplasty experience organised and orchestrated by Dr Andaç Aykan and his team. I am from the UK originally but lived in Turkey for nine years previously. I was fully aware of the scale of the health tourism sector, but did not know where to start looking when considering surgery options in Istanbul. Having exhausted UK package possibilities (I did not feel comfortable knowing that some surgeons are performing multiple surgeries in a day, the incessant ‘special offers,’ and the mixed results.) By word of mouth and recommendation I heard of Dr. Aykan, having had several previous in-person consultations. In my case I was not looking for a drastic change in my appearance and my main aim was to find a surgeon able to proceed without artistic license! Keeping in mind, I am a person who does not like change and whom struggles even with hairstyle differences. The combined recommendation, reviews, clinic, technology, Doctor and team made my decision very easy. Where other Doctors had sketched or tried to explain expected changes to my nose incoherently, Dr Aykan used 3D vectra imaging to portray an expected result, using the angles of my face to develop a nose with the best fit for my face and other features. Furthermore, after assessing my nose internally (whilst showing me onscreen) he provided a ready printed document and was able to illustrate how my septum deviated and necessary structural changes to allow me to breathe more freely. Dr Aykan speaks perfect English and was able to articulate and address all of my concerns - of which I had a list of questions to resolve. I had not anticipated my peak in anxiety the day before and day of the surgery and I felt that this was completely understood and acknowledged. I felt that Dr Aykan offset my anxiety and nerves through his calm, steadfast and intellectual demeanour. Overall I can say instinctively that I felt that Dr. Aykan would not do me a disservice and I felt throughout the process that I was able to trust fully in the Doctor to achieve the result I had requested. When I had any doubts in the months before the surgery, I always returned to the position that, ‘this is the surgeon who can execute the optimal result.’ On the day of the surgery, everything went smoothly and I woke up to the sound of Şevval’s voice (the Dr’s Assistant), who expressed that everything had gone well. I later saw the Doctor in the hospital room and was able to share that my breathing was much improved, even as of Day 1! The hospital room itself was really lovely and my boyfriend was able to stay next to me on a fold out sofa. The nurses were incredible and throughout the night attentively put ice on my eyes every one hour. I was not able to express my immense gratitude easily after the surgery but they really impressed me and made a huge difference to the overall experience and in my speedy recovery - whereby I happened to have a deficit of bruising and only a minimal 3 days of discomfort. Fast forward to the result and I could not be happier. Leaving the clinic I have already fully accepted my new nose and can really see how it has enhanced my appearance. I am also benefiting from the real results of the septoplasty, in every breath I take. I am excited to see the results transform and become even more outstanding in the upcoming few months, once swelling reduces. I am looking forward to future engagements when photos will showcase the true artistry of Dr Aykan and when my confidence will be boosted by this stunning, understated and natural minor modification to my look. I found this clinic on the internet. I am happy I chose this one, as the staff was very responsive and clear in explaining my requests and concerns. I was totally right because, from the moment I decided to have my surgery with this clinic to the moment I returned back home (and even after), I was completely taken care of and in safe hands. Dr Burak and his team are wonderful, and super professional in beautiful clean, modern facilities. I had Dimpleplasty which was a 30-minute procedure, it's just over a week later and I'm super happy with the results thus far. I liaised with Kara from start to finish she was fantastic and super helpful. Recommend Dr Burak, he has a great bedside manner and made me feel at ease immediately.

Had a new lens put in both eyes and thrilled with the results. Felt looked after from being collected at the airport, picked up for all appointments and dropped back at the airport.

If you are reading this review you are in the same situation I was once upon a time! To decide on where to do one of the biggest and most life-changing surgeries in your life, vaginoplasty! I was in your position once and read about doctors and looked at the results! But as important is the recovery! I ended up in the Im Clinic because of the beautiful results from their webpage and their many reviews of smooth recoveries, but also because of the amazing communication between the patient and the surgeon! You get free consultations before and after surgery to ensure that all questions is answered! I remember I was mindblown after my first consultation, the surgeon told me I didn't ask enough questions and wanted to set up a new consultation to ask more questions before I made my decision! They are not pushing you into choosing the Im Clinic, they rather want you to make an informed decision for what's best for you! I am now 4 months post-op, and I have never been happier! My result has become pretty much as the pictures shown on the website (just a bit more swollen, but this will go down)! The dilation schedule is very easy with 3 dilations daily the first month, then 2 dilations daily the next 2 months and once a day for the next 3 months! I can share that I have started physiotherapy and she was amazed at how natural it looked and how natural it also felt! She has worked 30 years helping women with a tight private part and she could not feel the difference between me and a cis-female! I have never been happier! Dr Labanca and the amazing patient coordinator Rosa have changed my life in ways I never thought possible! They truly are angels in my eyes, for me the impossible has become possible! I can feel like myself after a bit more than 20 years of living in the wrong body! Remember this is not an easy surgery to recover from, so to have a secure network like the Im gender medical team around at my disposal has been crucial for my recovery! My appointment today was a consultation. The staff were so nice. Especially the lady on reception. Did an ex-Ray and explained exactly what I needed to do going forward. She gave me a breakdown of what it would cost. It was a great experience. Excellent. Linda.
