I also had an amazing experience coordinating everything and having all my questions answered with my patient coordinator, Kristina. She has always been available for any questions I have, no matter how small! I felt very comfortable throughout the process and pampered with hyperbaric chamber sessions and manual lymphatic drainage massages. The healing process has been smooth and almost painless as well! I recently had an online consultation with Dr Roberto Herrero and his international patient coordinator, Aida, regarding Facial Feminisation Surgery, and I came away with a genuinely positive impression of both of them. From the beginning, they were welcoming, friendly, and fully engaged throughout the consultation. They gave me plenty of time to explain my goals, concerns, and expectations, and every question I asked was answered in detail with clear explanations and medical reasoning. What impressed me the most was that neither Dr Herrero nor Aida tried to sell me additional procedures. In fact, Dr. Herrero advised against several procedures that had been recommended by other surgeons because, in his opinion, they would provide limited benefit while exposing me to unnecessary risks and potential long-term complications. He carefully explained the reasoning behind each recommendation, discussing healing timelines, possible complications, and even issues that can arise years after surgery and may require complex revision procedures. Another aspect that really stood out was Dr Herrero's strong focus on patient safety. Every recommendation seemed to be made with my long-term well-being in mind rather than simply trying to achieve the biggest possible transformation or perform as many procedures as possible. That thoughtful, conservative approach gave me a great deal of confidence. Aida was equally wonderful throughout the process. She was kind, patient, transparent, and never made me feel pressured to make a decision. Instead, she encouraged me to take as much time as I needed, reassured me that I was welcome to ask further questions at any stage, and made me feel genuinely supported. I left the consultation feeling heard, respected, well informed, and, most importantly, safe. For full transparency, my experience so far is limited to the consultation stage, so I cannot yet comment on the surgery itself or the postoperative care. However, based on my experience so far, I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Herrero and Aida to anyone looking for an honest, patient-centred, and safety-focused consultation. I am genuinely looking forward to continuing the process with them.

I found this doctor on WhatClinic while I was visiting Albania as a tourist. I had always heard that Albanian women are very beautiful, so I became curious and thought I should at least consult with a local surgeon to see what might suit my face. I didn’t plan on doing anything major since my husband and I were only staying for two weeks. Her clinic is in Tirana, right next to the Air Albania Stadium, and the view from there is incredible. The clinic itself completely surprised me. I’m an architect, and honestly, I rarely see medical spaces designed this well. It’s modern, extremely clean, beautifully organised, and the whole atmosphere feels calm and professional. The staff were also very kind and welcoming. When I met the doctor, I immediately felt comfortable. She speaks perfect English, and I later learned she studied and lived in the United States. She’s quite young but clearly very respected while I was there. I met a few of her patients, and they were all speaking very highly of her. During my consultation, she said I was a good candidate for her “Baby Eye” technique. I had never heard of it, and at first I was hesitant because I wasn’t planning to have surgery. She took time to explain everything carefully and showed me many before-and-after results. What convinced me was that it’s a minimally invasive procedure done under local anaesthesia. The procedure took about 30 minutes, and I felt almost nothing. The result honestly surprised me. When I returned home, people kept asking if I had changed something; they said I looked fresher, younger, happier. Now I understand the name “Baby Eye”; it really softens the eyes in a very natural way. She truly has an artistic eye and very gifted hands. I rarely write reviews, but this experience deserved one. If I ever decide to have a facelift in the future, I would absolutely fly back to Albania to have it done by her.

This clinic and my experience here was incredible. I was so impressed with the facilities. The clinic is owned by the surgeon Dr. Ivan Manero, with the consultation, operating rooms and recovery rooms all in one beautiful building. I had facial feminisation surgery (brow bossing, hairline lowering, rhinoplasty, septoplasty), and the treatment I received was first class, i was made to feel like a princess the whole time. Dr. Manero and Dr. Herrera were very knowledgeable, and the staff very friendly. As a non-Spanish speaker i was made to feel welcome, and lots of the staff understand English. Its normal to feel a bit anxious about travelling to a different country for surgery, but i was given daily, 24 hour support from the clinic, i couldn't have asked for more. They did everything they could to help me. I underwent approximately 8 hours of surgery, and it can be very disorienting to wake up, and not be able to see or breathe through my nose. It was really nice to have my sister nearby when i woke up. You have to be patient with facial feminisation surgery, the results won't truly be seen for 6 months, in which time I'm going to avoid sugar, alcohol and any other inflammatory food. The nurses responded so quickly to any issue i had with pain, and the food was excellant. For personal reasons i had to travel to Spain earlier than planned, and the patient co-ordinator Aida Masdeu was so quick to react and found me accomodation the same day. It's this level of dedication that really impressed me, and reassured me. We also shot an interview, which i was so happy to do. I had my make up applied professionally and was given the opportunity to talk about my favourite subject, which is myself! We spoke about what i expected from the surgery and my experiences of Ivan Manero Clinic. It was a lot of fun to shoot the video, im looking forward to the final cut. Facial feminisation surgery is very important to get right, and they understood my concerns and told me in detail what I should expect from the results. My experience in Barcelona was amazing, and I'm already looking to my follow up consultation in 6 months time. I actually cried out of happiness when i left the clinic, all the nurses came out to say goodbye, i was made to feel valued and appreciated. I'm so glad i chose to come to this clinic

Fantastic experience from start to finish with the clinic. Cannot recommend enough for the exceptional clinical care. Everything was explained and I was made feel at ease which is very important when having facial surgery. For any future surgery, I know where to go. Dr Birbe is an expert in his area, and not all surgeons are created equal. I am very pleased with the pre and post-op care and my recovery will hopefully go as smoothly as the procedure I had.

I went to the clinic to discuss the possibility of a breast enhancement. I had already visited a number of other specialists in Europe and had not felt 100% confident in the process methods and results. The consultation I had here was really excellent, the doctor was extremely knowledgeable and also listened closely to my concerns and requirements. He gave me good feedback about what I could expect and the pros and cons of each type of method available. Dr De Benito also came to check on me, which was quite special. We tried out different breast forms and were happy to test the looks aesthetically.
