Hello everyone, I recently underwent upper eyelid surgery (Blepharoplasty) with Doctor Ahmet and I am currently in the process of recovering from the surgery. If you were born with a cleft lip and palate, it means you’ll likely face many surgeries throughout your life. After all those surgeries, it’s time for your nose surgery. Then you start looking for a doctor. Because a nose of someone with a cleft lip and palate is challenging — not every surgeon can handle it. Not everyone is capable. I waited many years, and finally, our paths crossed with Dr. Mithat somehow. We sat down and talked. He explained everything one by one. The day of the surgery arrived. I’m currently on day five. Tomorrow we’ll visit our doctor again. Hopefully, we’ll get rid of the casts and tampons. We shouldn’t forget Ms. Yeşim either — she never hesitated to respond to every single message of mine, patiently and without ignoring any question. If you’re a patient with a cleft lip and palate looking for a surgeon, Dr. Mithat is the master of this field — the Picasso, the Vincent van Gogh of this art. <3

Had my mommy makeover with Dr. Suleyman and honestly, best decision ever. I was nervous having surgery in another country but he and his team made everything so easy. After 2 kids I didn’t feel like myself anymore, but now I do again. Everything was arranged for me, no stress at all. Can’t recommend him enough. Felt really safe and cared for the whole time. The nurses were lovely too. Dr. Suleyman stayed in touch after surgery and answered all my questions, and the translator was always there when I needed anything. Prof. Stajcic and the nurses at the clinic are especially careful, kind, and professional. I had a chondrolaryngoplasty. I was especially really worried about possible damage to vocal cords, but Prof. Stajcic was really calm about it and explained that there is no substantial risk. My Adam's apple was huge, and I was cautioned that even after surgery,y there will be a slight bulge, and so it is, but still the pointy, obviously male part is gone, and my dysphoria has gotten way better. I had a quick and easy recovery, and three months later, only a thin pink line is left at the incision site, which I am treating with ointments. Even months later, Prof. Stajcic messaged me to ask whether everything was fine. He is a kind man with a sense of humour. For whoever chooses this clinic, I have to warn you that it is on the last floor of a residential building, which gives a scary impression at first. However, after entering, the clinic itself is clean and very well-equipped, and the staff is very professional. Being in Eastern Europe, prices are much more affordable than in Western countries, while the quality does not seem to be any less. Last but not least, any surgery is a risk, and as a trans person myself, I want to urge all people to only undergo surgeries they are sure about. Mr Karantonis is a great doctor, with not only great surgical skills but also great communication skills and lots of empathy. I had a breast augmentation procedure 3 months ago (I waited so that I could review the actual results, once all swelling was gone), I love the results; they totally match what I wanted and look perfectly natural and in harmony with the rest of my body. I had a gastric Balloon Done which costed 2000 Euro for 6 months. I am down 9kg after 6 weeks. I found the communication excellent and the follow up. I knew there was support if any questions and that was great reassurance. I organised this very fast and I was accommodated for the dates that suited me. All the staff were very friendly and the doctor was very attentive throughout. Getting picked up from the airport and collected and dropped off at hotel and clinic took a lot of stress out of the trip.
