Brow lift surgery is often done in conjunction with blepharoplasty surgery (eyelids) because the brow has dropped which can make the upper eyelids appear heavy and lined and give a tired appearance to the eye area. Modern surgery techniques use "endoscopic" brow lift which involves very small incisions in the hairline and tiny bio-absorbable implants from which the brow is suspended and placed into its natural position. Earfold procedure is a new non invasive treatment designed to correct prominent ears using a very simple technique which is done under local anaesthetic in an out patient setting which allows the patient to have minimal recovery time and the ability to resume everyday activities virtually immediately after treatment within reason.

The procedure is done by inserting small implants on to the cartilage to reshape it, via a small incision. There will be a some bruising and swelling but no need for a large dressing as with traditional otoplasty/pinnaplasty surgery. Costs vary according to the number of implants required to achieve the desired effect but the average patient requires one in each ear. From £2,290 (one implant each ear) and £1,670 for unilateral (one ear). A trial earfold is done at the consultation so that a patient can see how the eras would look after treatment. This is a huge advantage in helping a patient decide if this treatment is what they are looking for.
