After having a gastric band fitted ten years ago it became very uncomfortable and I started gaining weight. After having no success with the NHS I was quoted £6200 to go privately in the UK Seeing that I was going on holiday to Turkey in June I called and spoke to Emsal at the Yucelen hospital. She was extremely professional and communicative and said the band could be removed by the surgeon Dr Aydin Keskin and suggested I could also have a gastric sleeve. Nearing the end of my holiday I went to the Yucelen hospital to have the band removed and a gastric sleeve procedure.
