Prof. Stajcic and the nurses at the clinic are especially careful, kind, and professional. I had a chondrolaryngoplasty. I was especially really worried about possible damage to vocal cords, but Prof. Stajcic was really calm about it and explained that there is no substantial risk. My Adam's apple was huge, and I was cautioned that even after surgery,y there will be a slight bulge, and so it is, but still the pointy, obviously male part is gone, and my dysphoria has gotten way better. I had a quick and easy recovery, and three months later, only a thin pink line is left at the incision site, which I am treating with ointments. Even months later, Prof. Stajcic messaged me to ask whether everything was fine. He is a kind man with a sense of humour. For whoever chooses this clinic, I have to warn you that it is on the last floor of a residential building, which gives a scary impression at first. However, after entering, the clinic itself is clean and very well-equipped, and the staff is very professional. Being in Eastern Europe, prices are much more affordable than in Western countries, while the quality does not seem to be any less. Last but not least, any surgery is a risk, and as a trans person myself, I want to urge all people to only undergo surgeries they are sure about. However, if you do decide on a tracheal shave, I think you will be in good hands at Prof. Stajcic's. Aleks - November 2025

His professionalism and skill gave me complete confidence, and I am very happy with the results. The staff and facilities at Koru Private Hospital were equally impressive. I had a breast reduction with Dra. Claudia Frigo at Clinica Planas in June 2026. I absolutely loved my experience, and it was worth it to choose Dra. Frigo and Clinica Planas! I also had an amazing experience coordinating everything and having all my questions answered with my patient coordinator, Kristina. She has always been available for any questions I have, no matter how small! I felt very comfortable throughout the process and pampered with hyperbaric chamber sessions and manual lymphatic drainage massages. The healing process has been smooth and almost painless as well! I highly recommend going to Clinica Planas!

She even spent her day off at the clinic with me while I had my surgery, this I am very grateful as I was doing it on my own in a different country. Nick the surgeon is amazing at what he does also. Fantastic experience from start to finish with the clinic. Cannot recommend enough for the exceptional clinical care. Everything was explained and I was made feel at ease which is very important when having facial surgery. For any future surgery, I know where to go. Dr Birbe is an expert in his area, and not all surgeons are created equal. I am very pleased with the pre and post-op care and my recovery will hopefully go as smoothly as the procedure I had.

Everything from my initial free consultation, through my treatment and aftercare for a small growth on my head and a brown mole on the side of my forehead was absolutely fantastic. Dr Benitez was thorough and sensitive to my needs and so very professional, the operations that she carried out were exceptional. The general care at Dr Benitez's clinic was something I have not experienced before. Caring and professional from the very beginning with aftercare that was so very good. A particular mention has to go to her nurse and her colleagues who were so very friendly, wonderful!! I cannot thank the ladies enough for their care and kindness.

I went to the clinic to discuss the possibility of a breast enhancement. I had already visited a number of other specialists in Europe and had not felt 100% confident in the process methods and results. The consultation I had here was really excellent, the doctor was extremely knowledgeable and also listened closely to my concerns and requirements. He gave me good feedback about what I could expect and the pros and cons of each type of method available. Dr De Benito also came to check on me, which was quite special. We tried out different breast forms and were happy to test the looks aesthetically. Overall, this was a very positive experience and has given me a lot of confidence to consider going ahead with the team.

Rather than recommending more procedures, Dr. Herrero actually advised against some because he felt the risks outweighed the benefits, which gave me a great deal of confidence in both him and the team. For full transparency, my experience is currently limited to the consultation and planning stage, so I cannot comment on the surgery itself. However, based on my experience so far, I would happily recommend Safe Rebirth to anyone looking for honest, compassionate, and patient-centred support throughout their FFS journey.
