FFS - Facial Feminization Surgery Belgium

Dr. Norman Van Der Dussen is an absolute artist at his work! His skills and his care for the patient are truly amazing and the results of my FFS exceeded my expectations. I am 33 year old, transgender MtF, and had my FFS 12 months ago. I had my first consultation with Dr. Van Der Dussen about 16 months ago at 2Pass (now O2 clinc) in Antwerp. Initially, I consulted multiple surgeons and was sceptical with Dr. Norman Van Der Dussen because of his age. However, he was the only surgeon who did not list all possibilities at me that one can do surgically. Instead,he took my photos and drew on them while explaining to me how he will feminise my face, while conserving the geometries that identify me. Besides the overwhelmingly good reviews made me choose him. In total, my surgery took almost 8 hours and included forehead reconstruction type 3 (brow bone reduction, hair line lowering, brow lift), rhinoplasty and reduction of the chaw. Luckily,y my recovery was straightforward, fast and without too much pain (which is very different from person to person). I stayed 5 nights in the guest house at the clinic. The care was absolutely perfect and the staff very lovely. Most of the swelling around the eyes disappeared after about 5 days. My pain was manageable (barely noticeable) without pain medication after 8 days and my bruising disappeared after about 10 days. After 2 weeks I went back to work. For the first 2 months my face, especially around my jaw was a bit swollen and puffy, however not a problem to go back to work. After about 6 months the final results were visible.
