Prof. Stajcic and the nurses at the clinic are especially careful, kind, and professional. I had a chondrolaryngoplasty. I was especially really worried about possible damage to vocal cords, but Prof. Stajcic was really calm about it and explained that there is no substantial risk. My Adam's apple was huge, and I was cautioned that even after surgery,y there will be a slight bulge, and so it is, but still the pointy, obviously male part is gone, and my dysphoria has gotten way better. I had a quick and easy recovery, and three months later, only a thin pink line is left at the incision site, which I am treating with ointments. Even months later, Prof. Stajcic messaged me to ask whether everything was fine. He is a kind man with a sense of humour. For whoever chooses this clinic, I have to warn you that it is on the last floor of a residential building, which gives a scary impression at first. However, after entering, the clinic itself is clean and very well-equipped, and the staff is very professional. Being in Eastern Europe, prices are much more affordable than in Western countries, while the quality does not seem to be any less. Last but not least, any surgery is a risk, and as a trans person myself, I want to urge all people to only undergo surgeries they are sure about. In May 2026, I had a septorhinoplasty with Dr. Piniara and buccal fat removal with Dr. Velimvasakis at Antiagers and I had a wonderful experience as well as fantastic results. I can confirm that they are both incredible physicians, surgeons, and artists. From the very first consultation till the last follow-up appointment, they were professional, welcoming, and great at communicating and answering all my concerns. I felt comfortable going into surgery from both a medical/safety as well as an aesthetic standpoint. I wanted a more defined facial appearance while still looking natural, and my results exceeded my expectations. Before surgery, I had breathing problems from my left nostril due to a deviated septum, enlarged turbinate, and unsupported tip, and all the issues were addressed during surgery. Within two weeks postop I was able to breathe better through my left nostril than before surgery. Furthermore, my nose looks much more balanced with my face, and the buccal fat removal gave my jawline and cheek area a sharper, more masculine definition without looking excessive. Although recovery can vary widely among patients, mine was fortunately much easier than I expected, and the clinic staff and physicians were always available to answer my questions and check on my progress. My mom and I had plastic surgery with Dr Tam. I do rhinoplasty, and my mom does facelifts, fat repositioning under the eye, and silicone removal in the smile line. Professor Dr Baki Yilmaz is an outstanding surgeon. I cannot thank him enough for the transformation he's done to my nose functionally and aesthetically. I previously had a rhinoplasty at home in the UK nearly 15 years ago. For at least the past 5 years, I have been having major difficulties breathing through my right nostril. When I was referred to ENT in the UK, I was told I had an enlarged turbinate and given nasal steroids to take continuously for the past 2 years. I started looking on whatclinic for a surgeon that does ethnic revision rhinoplasty (as it is hard to find a surgeon that can work on thick skin as a black woman) and could deal with the enlarged turbinate and also a revision, as I didn't like the look of my nose anymore. I did have some fillers previously (I would not advise), "pixie tip lift," and it just started to make the tip look large and wider after some time. When Dr Yilmaz contacted me, he said we could have a video consultation. Straight away, I felt assured and at ease with everything he said relating to the breathing difficulties and the look. He mentioned I had a slight nasal valve collapse and that it could be rectified along with the turbinate issue. He was also going to refine my nose so it's in harmony with my face. As an ENT surgeon and professor with over 20 years of experience, my search ended with Dr Yilmaz, and I booked my flight to Istanbul. It was a seamless journey from start to finish. When I met Dr Yilmaz in person, I knew I was in safe hands and was not worried at all. The recovery went better than I expected. I had some mild swelling around my cheeks but no bruising. On the 4th day, the main cast came off, and for the first time in years, I could breathe! And although my nose was swollen... it was beautiful! I fell in love with myself again. Another cast was put on the home to go home in and stayed on for a few more days. That night I had the best sleep of my life. When I returned to the UK, and the cast was removed, it looked even better than before, and there was no visible scarring, which I was so pleased with as a black woman who tends to keloid/hypertrophy. Very easy and smooth process. I went in for a mole removal. The translator (Solya) was very helpful and kind, so I felt at ease throughout the process. I had a great experience with my rhinoplasty procedure from start to finish. Dr Sema was incredibly knowledgeable, experienced, and professional. She told me it was more complicated than she thought, but she still managed to remove the filler. The procedure was slightly more expensive than average in Turkey; however, it was well worth it, and I would pay it over and over again because of the results and how much effort the doctor put in to ensure the results were effective. I chose Dr Sema specifically because she was an ENT specialist, and this requires years of education and experience. I am so happy I chose to have a practical nose rather than a designer nose.
