Dr. J.Ģīlis has been practicing in plastic and reconstructive surgery since 1985, and prior to the foundation of his private clinic worked in Latvian Plastic and Reconstructive Microsurgery Center.
He has graduated from the Latvian Academy of Medicine specializing in microsurgery. He did research and his dissertation on microsurgical treatments was held in 1988. He has improved his qualification and knowledge in different clinics in the USA and Canada.
Dr. J.Ģīlis is a regular participant of International Conferences and workshops on plastic, laser and reconstructive surgery.
Dr. J.Ģīlis works as a lecturer at the Medical Department of Latvia University, and Riga’s School of Cosmetics.
In 1992 Dr. J.Ģīlis established his private clinic, which specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, and is performing facial and reconstructive surgery using state-of-the-art medical equipment.
