This was my first trip to Mexico for dental work. I was a little apprehensive not knowing the procedures of crossing the border. Turns out it was really easy, drive to the border, turn right into parking lot on Texas side. $2 to park and another $1 fee to walk into Mexico (.30 cents for return) Dentist office was a short walk away. Upon my initial exam, I was asked why I wanted a root canal when a filling would suffice the problem.....at the advise of my tech. I choose the $60 filling over the root canal, post, crown route my local dentist advised... The procedure went well with no issues. Very happy with the services received. I went to Dr. Chio Dental Clinic and had seven teeth extracted, Torus removed, Reline top and got immediate bottom dentures for $1,455.00. I spoke with Jesus several times during the week before I got there and he was always very nice and so helpful. The dentist that I saw was Eric Lopez and he was great. Also I'm assuming she was a Dental Assistant but I'm not sure what her title was and I can't think of her name right now but she was also great. Thank you to everyone there, I will be recommending you to everyone I know.

They also provide you with a driver to and from the airport and your appointments, and he's one of the loveliest people I have ever met. I can be a challenging patient because of all the emotion that comes up for me in the dentist's chair, and I cry easily, especially around this. Dr. Kim takes the time to explain and show what is needed and how he would like to do each procedure. Would I recommend Dr. Kim. Yes, no problem. My mouth feels good. His hours are good and he is a smart person. Interesting to hear a person from Korea go from speaking to his assistants then switching to English speaking to me with a Korean accent. Would I go back? Yes without a question.
