Dental Office Puerto Vallarta

Plaza Marina Suite G24 and G25, Marina Vallarta, Puerto Vallarta, 48335
Rating from 25 Reviews The whole experience was excellent. The facilities were first classSylvia, Maple Ridge, 21 Jun 18

After visiting local Canadian dentists and getting estimates ranging from $12,000 to $18,000 to replace and/or repair seven front teeth, I investigated Mexican dentists. I contacted three offices in Puerto Vallarta. After several emails and a phone call, I chose Dental Office Puerto Vallarta Dental Office. After meeting with Dr. Danya and discussing treatment options we proceeded with extracting one tooth and prepping the other six for crowns. This took about four hours and I was then fitted for a temporary seven tooth set of crowns. The permanent crowns were ordered and delivered in five days. I went back and had the permanent ones put in. They are beautiful. I now have a movie star smile! The whole experience was excellent. The facilities were first class, everyone spoke English and Dr. Danya did an excellent job. The cost was about 25% of the Canadian price and I could pay in Canadian dollars, not the U.S.

Temporary Crown
Dental Crowns
A natural look for broken and cracked teeth  If you want a smile of glory, you may need a crown to restore the tooth to its normal shape and size. A porcelain crown (also called embedding) covers a tooth to restore its normal shape and size, strengthening and improving the appearance of a tooth. Severe Best Teeth Stains Porcelain Veneer Veneer Application Best Treatment The advantages of crowns include: * Size, shape, texture and color can be controlled. * Return of aesthetics and function. * Can be used on damaged or broken teeth Although porcelain crowns require the reduction of more tooth structure than the veneers, so they are generally stronger than the veneers. Porcelain crowns look like natural teeth and are often stronger than the original teeth. A new crown should last six to eight years. Crowns, however, can last much longer with the application of good oral hygiene and supervision. Moreover, teeth grinding, chewing ice, biting your nails and could significantly decrease the duration of a crown. Dental Crowns  For very damaged teeth, dental crowns can be an effective option. The crown placement procedure involves the use of dental tooth-shaped cover made of metal, ceramic or porcelain to restore strength and eliminate discomfort. In addition, dental crowns can be used to anchor a dental bridge or to cap a dental implant post.Types of Dental Crowns  Dental crowns are made of metal, ceramic or porcelain fused to metal. The type of crown that is used during the procedure will depend on the individual needs and goals, as well as the recommendation of the dentist.

International Dental Center PV

446 Lazaro Cardenas (downtown), Puerto Vallarta, 48380
Rating from 35 Reviews Best fillingsMelanie, US, 08 Mar 17

We had our teeth cleaned at this clinic and my husband has had a filling replaced. The filling was on a front tooth and I have looked several times and it is nearly impossible to see...terrific job! The cleanings are exactly as they were at home in the US only cheaper. Very thorough. my first impression of this office is that it is clean. All the dental tools were clean and sanitized and the equipment in the office was as modern as any office I have been in north of the border. Face masks were used and dental gloves. This is a very consciencious practice.

Temporary Crown $200 - $300
Temporary crownsTemporary dental crowns are usually cemented into place using "temporary" cement so they can be removed easily at the time of your next dental appointment. Because this cement is not as strong as other types of dental cement, your dentist will probably suggest to you that you take some precautions so not to dislodge your temporary crown.Resin crownsA resin crown is made from a special mixture of microscopic particles and cosmetic dental resin. The particles resemble tiny pieces of glass mixed into the resin, which is then cured to harden and strengthen the compound.Zirconia Crowns:Zirconia is the best material available for bridges and for creating a strong translucent tooth that rivals all-porcelain crowns. Zirconia crowns are significantly less expensive than all-porcelain crowns, and about the same price as gold-based metal-porcelain crowns (slightly higher than stainless steel). Also, because zirconia substrates can be milled with a laser milling machine, the substrates tend to fit better and are less labor-intensive than either a metal-procelain or all-porcelain solution, providing a superior product with a quicker turn-around at a lower cost.
Dental Crowns $440 - $550
One-Price for Porcelain over Metal Crowns including x-rays, temporaries, and build-ups if necessary. Because porcelain crowns cover your entire tooth, they often provide good solutions for severe problems i.e. a bad fracture, a large filling, a tooth that has had root canal treatment, and in situations where one or several teeth are missing. When teeth cannot be saved, dental implants and bridges are a great option to replace missing teeth. As with other techniques, crowns can correct a wide range of problems. They are durable and strong, so replacements are needed less often. The difference between crowns and laminates (or porcelain inlays) is that more tooth structure is removed. This is required to allow adequate space for the restorative material to have appropriate strength, esthetics… and healthy gum contour. The types of crowns that are commonly used are:1.Porcelain fused to metal quality. 2.Porcelain jacket crown 3.100% Porcelain and Art Glass.Porcelain
Gold Crown $500 - $700
Gold crowsThe classic metal dental crown is one made of gold, or more precisely a gold alloy. Over the decades a variety of different metal alloys have been used in making dental crowns. Some of these metals are silver in color rather than yellow like gold

Rating from 2 Reviews The dentists and staff here are wonderful and very helpfulColleen, Canada, 25 Feb 18

I had a full set of dentures done in 3 days. They recommend taking longer to make sure the fit is exactly right as they do need some adjustment and fitting after the lab is done with them. The dentists and staff here are wonderful and very helpful. Enough of them speak fairly fluent English and are willing to answer any questions before and after treatment.

Dental Crowns $380 - $575
Porcelain crowns can be made using an inner metallic or zirconia shell or not, depending on several facts such as biting force, the way teeth close and aesthetics. In general metal less porcelain crowns are more life like than metal porcelain, but they might be less strong to withstand biting forces. Porcelain used in dentistry is like a glass and thus it is translucent, giving restorations a very natural appearance. You and your dentist can discuss and decide if metal supported or metal less porcelain are selected for your crowns.Zirconia is a third and  very popular option.

Dental Implants $1250 - $2750
Dental implants are substitutes for missing teeths roots and can be used to replace a single missing tooth, to support a bridge, or  to retain a complete denture. Usually 3 visits are required to complete the implant procedure: One for examination, planing and site selection, the second for surgical placement of fixtures and a third, a minimum of 8 weeks later, for placement of the final restorations. Root shaped implants are made of titanium, a metal that has proved to be bio compatible and that can actually integrate with bone to form a strong bond. The newest are zirconium oxide implants which are bio compatible. Mini implants are a different type of implant land are much less expensive. Please contact us for more information.

Rating from 2 Reviews I would recommend anyone who needs dental care to use this practiceAmy, Mexico, 23 Sep 16

I needed all of my teeth crowned. I had been very self conscious of my smile for years. My first appointment , I was fearful, tearful, and embarrassed . The dentist is awesome. First, he did not make me feel bad.....but instead see that there was hope that I could smile again( without hiding my teeth with my lip or hand. He did an exam , showed me all that he was seeing and then talked about the benefits of good dental health! Several weeks later .......well....i can't stop smiling! He was kind, no pain, explained everything that would happen, and reassured me along the way. All of the staff there is wonderful!! I would recommend anyone who needs dental care to use this practice. I can not say enough nice things about these folks. All professional, but so nice and caring. Excellent
