I had a porcelain dental crown on one of my eye teeth. It is a perfect colour match to my other front teeth. I am amazed they could do for I had very little left after the rot was removed. The customer care was great before, during and after the procedure. I strongly recommend this clinic. The price was about a third of the Canadian price. Very good overall experience.

Rating from 1 Review I am very happy with the quality of the work, the professionalism of the doctors and staffKelly, US, 02 07 19

I needed implants when I broke a 6 tooth bridge. I completed the first part of my dental work in January and returned in May 2019 to complete the process. I am very happy with the quality of the work, the professionalism of the doctors and staff and the friendliness as well. It was spotlessly clean. Having transportation provided was icing on the cake. I highly recommend Dr Juan and Dr Aurora. All my questions were answered, before and during the process. Their pricing allowed me to have 2 vacations in Cancun and get my dental work done for a little over one-third of what it was quoted to me in Texas (including transportation and lodging).

Dental partials. This is a no-nonsense professional dentist. She performs only the work necessary and doesn't try to sell you unnecessary services (unlike the US.A). You are promptly seen and attended to at your scheduled time (also unlike the U.S.A). My work was performed at about 20% of the cost I would have paid for in Florida. Thank You (gracias) Doctor Luz Marely Garcia Alvarez!

Rating from 33 Reviews He is living headache free and getting back into lifeKerry, US, 10 10 18

I took my 2 sons to Dr Karen. My first son had a root canal. He was waiting and waiting for the specialist to start when she sat him up and said, "All finished!" He was expecting pain and a horrible time. He said he stared at a beautiful woman and was done so quickly he thought she was just checking. He had such horrible migraines for 3 years. Since his root canal, he has not had one. He is living headache free and getting back into life! My second son had a bone infection that ate his jaw away. He needed a tooth pulled and bone graph. He was so nervous! He said, "Dr, when will you pull the tooth?" The doctor showed him that his tooth was already out! My second son had an estimate in America of $13000! Three people went to Puerto Vallarta for 8 days with 2 people having dental work and buying gifts for home, we spent under $4500! I trust this clinic so much that I will schedule my daughter for this November. Thank you, everyone, especially Jose! This clinic is small, extremely clean and the staff is overly helpful. They helped with phones, taxis and things that had nothing to do with dental. My 2 sons never experienced any pain. The office took such great care that we have shared our story to many friends. Some are planning to come with us in November!

Permanent Crown $150 - $450
Permanent crowns can be made from all metal, porcelain-fused-to-metal, all resin, or all ceramic.Metals used in crowns include gold alloy, other alloys (for example, palladium) or a base-metal alloy (for example, nickel or chromium). Compared with other crown types, less tooth structure needs to be removed with metal crowns, and tooth wear to opposing teeth is kept to a minimum. Metal crowns withstand biting and chewing forces well and probably last the longest in terms of wear down. Also, metal crowns rarely chip or break. The metallic color is the main drawback. Metal crowns are a good choice for out-of-sight molars.Porcelain-fused-to-metal dental crowns can be color matched to your adjacent teeth (unlike the metallic crowns). However, more wearing to the opposing teeth occurs with this crown type compared with metal or resin crowns. The crowns porcelain portion can also chip or break off. Next to all-ceramic crowns, porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns look most like normal teeth. However, sometimes the metal underlying the crowns porcelain can show through as a dark line, especially at the gum line and even more so if your gums recede. These crowns can be a good choice for front or back teeth.All-resin dental crowns are less expensive than other crown types. However, they wear down over time and are more prone to fractures than porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns.All-ceramic or all-porcelain dental crowns provide the best natural color match than any other crown type and may be more suitable for people with metal allergies. However, they are not as strong as porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns and they wear down opposing teeth a little more than metal or resin crowns. All-ceramic crowns are a good choice for front teeth.Temporary versus permanent. Temporary crowns can be made in your dentists office whereas permanent crowns are made in a dental laboratory.
Dental Crowns $150 - $400
A dental crown is a cap-like restoration used to cover a damaged tooth. Crowns can give support to misshapen or badly broken teeth and permanently replace missing teeth to complete a smile or improve a bite pattern. They may be molded from metal, ceramic, plastics, or combinations of all three. They are cemented in place and coated to make them more natural looking. Historically, a variety of materials have been used as tooth replacements. The ancient Egyptians used animal teeth and pieces of bone as primitive replacement materials. More recently, artificial teeth have been fabricated from substances such as ivory, porcelain, and even platinum. With modern technology, high quality tooth replacements can be made from synthetic plastic resins, ceramic composites, and lightweight metal alloys.
Temporary Crown $30 - $50
A temporary crown is a provisional, short term restoration used in dentistry. Usually the temporary crown is constructed from a chemical-cure composite, although alternative systems using aluminium crown forms are occasionally used by practitioners. The temporary material is shaped by the dentist to form a tooth shape that protects the prepared tooth, prevents damage to the periodontal tissues (gums) and disguises the prepared tooth to a degree until the final, definitive restoration can be made by a dental technician.A temporary crown will usually be cemented in place with a soft temporary dental cement, such as Temp-Bond NE. This allows easy removal when fitting the definitve restoration. If a temporary crown becomes decemented, it is important that a dentist examine the patient as overeruption of the opposing teeth may prevent accurate fitting of the final crown.
