I recently spent 4 days in Los Algodones getting dental work from Dra Mayra Jimenez and Reny Dental. It was a great experience and I now have a full lower set of teeth, something I haven't had in decades. The practice is very professionally run, I would say to the same standards you would find in the US, super clean and with all the latest equipment and techniques. The staff all speaks English, which is important, if, like me, you can only speak a couple of words in Spanish. I am a very nervous patient, been putting the work off for years but Dra Mayra has a very calm and reassuring manner that went a long way towards keeping any anxiety down, she is also a perfectionist. I can't say that the procedures were painless, 7 root canals takes it out of you! but I was given sedatives and many shots of Novocain. The Town itself is an Interesting colourful place, lots of Hawkers selling all sorts of stuff but very safe. We stayed at the Cielito Lindo hotel, booking through Reny Dental gets a substantial discount, depending on how much work you get. In my case, I got 50% off the Hotel Bill. Overall, I am very happy with the work done. The doctor told me It could be up to a month for the pain to settle and at the 2-week mark, it has mostly gone. Getting used to new teeth and no partial denture has been a new experience. The price I paid for all my work was very reasonable, I would say around 35% of what I would have paid here in Salt Lake. Also, my smile is greatly improved, not the main reason I got the work done but I'll take the Movie Star teeth! I highly recommend using Reny Dental and will return to do my top teeth sometime in the future.

I just went last week and it was a very good experience. I had 4 Veneers done and they came out beautiful. I will be returning for the 1 Crown I still need. Everyone in the office speaks English, was very helpful and willing to go the extra mile if you need directions or a place to eat nearby. I have been going to the dentist since I was 8 because of pneumonia at 5 when I was treated with an antibiotic. It damaged my permanent teeth. I explained to Melisa that my mouth has PTSD. I have been to dentists in 9 countries, including Thailand. No one compares to the excellence of Melisa Meneses. Her needles are high gauge. Her chair is comfortable enough to make love in. Her English is good. She is brilliant AND gorgeous. Her work was carried out swiftly over a few days. 5 zirconium crowns, 1 bridge, 2 cavities. Extraordinary. Her English-speaking front desk woman is first-class and constantly helpful. Her assistant is totally attentive. She takes debit cards.

This clinic is excellent. I have experience with visiting dentists in many countries. The office was conveniently located a very short walk from the pedestrian border crossing and a staff member met me to show me the way. From the first phone call to walking out the door after my first visit, I was treated with kindness and respect. All of the staff were pleasant, helpful and bilingual. I did not feel rushed. Dr. Chavez was thoughtful, honest, and clear in his explanations for my treatment plan taking the time to make sure I understood the procedures and the pros and cons. The office and treatment rooms were immaculate utilizing the most modern equipment and the doctor and staff followed strict hygiene protocols. I had minor procedures, a cleaning, filling and diagnostic x-rays, and will follow up with more extensive procedures. TIP: If you are walking across the border and have global entry/ SENTRI, don’t forget your card. Walking back is a little tricky. I finally asked someone who looked like they knew. Stay to the left of the main line and continue to walk to the border gates. The locals expect this and most importantly there are NO signs to guide you. Border crossings are all a little different and that’s how it’s done at Nogales.

My 14-year-old daughter had all 4 wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Juan and he did an amazing job. She was put solely on local anesthesia during the surgical procedure but Dr. Juan worked fast yet gentle enough for a young person to tolerate the procedure without sedation. He and Dr. Karen as well as their staff are very nice and friendly. Dr Karen also kept in touch via WhatsApp to monitor how my daughter was recovering. When we had some doubts, Dr. Juan did not hesitate to send a 2-minute voice recording on WhatsApp for very clear instructions. Their clinic provides a positive, welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable dental service provider.

This was the absolute best dental treatment and experience I have had and stands head and shoulders above any treatment I have received in Canada in regards to the service, experience, quality of work, and cost. Not only this, but the staff were very efficient, informative, and friendly right from greeting you to getting to work within five minutes of arriving versus visiting a dentist in Canada who has you sit in the waiting room for 20 to 40 minutes before moving you to another room waiting for the dentist for another 15 to 30 minutes before starting the assembly line dental work. Neo Clinic offers you water, tea, or coffee, then within 5 to 10 minutes have you being evaluated, having x-rays taken, mapping out a plan of procedure and then explaining why they are recommending what they are doing and possible alternatives that you and the dentist can discuss. In terms of the office, it was modern and very clean, and even a large TV on the ceiling you can watch while your procedures are being done. I also felt very safe in the area of Cancun where the office is located, they even have a staff member to help you get the office or pick you up and drop you off if needed at no additional cost. The treatment I had completed was two root canals, some fillings, and a crown repair that had failed from previous work completed in Canada, to add to this the dentist explained what was going on and let me know that she would be using the best filling materials available to get a great colour match and a long-lasting result and all of this at a cost that is at least 50 to 60% less than what I would get in Canada. I was so happy with the Dentists and all the other support staff that I asked for six business cards that I will be giving to any of my friends who are in need of some dental work. I have in fact already recommended Neo Clinic to three people since returning from my visit to Neo Clinic in December 2023 and will continue to do so. HyL offered to have a driver pick me up at the boarder, but I wanted to walk the short distance. The clinic is a ten minute walk from the boarder, making access very convenient for US citizens. Both Dr. Contreras and Dr. Uribe were extremely patient in listening to my dental history treatment concerns and dental goals. Dr. Contreras was very professional and understanding when I declined his treatment recommendation. His dental work was excellent and Dr. Uribe ensured that overnight hotel accommodations were reset after a hotel scheduling mishap. Diana the Dental Hygienist was gentle and thorough. The dental onlay feels firm and I will be returning soon for a crown and implant. The professionals like doctors Contreras and Uribe in Matamoros Mexico build confidence for US citizens to consider reducing their dental cost and increasing dental health. From the high tech equipment to the cleanliness of the clinic this was truly a great experience. I am terrified of going to the dentist but the staff here made me very comfortable. Everything was explained very carefully to me. All the work done to my teeth turned out fantastic! Well there is much I can say about this dental place we found this in TikTok and decided to come and see for myself. I had estimates in California for $45000.00 and was in pain I came to get a 4th opinion but was amazed of there facilities and doctors they really helped me out got all my work done in March 2023 here and have been so pleased. Everyone that know me know how I feel about dentist but here you will get first-class services and the same materials that they use in California. I feel like a new man with my perfect teeth now. Don’t let the words Mexico scare you. I am so pleased and by the way, it was less than a quarter of the price. Yes yes, we are so happy my wife is getting her work done today as I am posting this.
