I was promised the work would be completed in 1.5 years, but it ended up taking almost four. The worst part? The incompetence of the dentist. She placed three implants in my upper jaw incorrectly—one so poorly that I developed a bone infection, had to have the implant removed twice, and underwent three bone grafts. This alone delayed the completion of my treatment by two years. But here’s the good that came from it: Dr. Cesar Herrera. He is truly gifted—born to be a surgeon. If not for everything I went through, I wouldn’t have met this talented young doctor. I used to believe that all dentists were the same, but now I know that a skilled doctor makes all the difference. The clinic’s staff insisted the problems were my fault—blaming my lack of bone and the infection. But aren’t these common issues for people getting dental implants? A true expert doesn’t see obstacles; they see solutions. Dr. Cesar Herrera is one of those rare experts. His wife, Dr. Estefannia Herrera, is equally skilled. Together, this brilliant couple provides exceptional care, ensuring everything is done properly and on time. They work as a team at their own implant center in Los Algodones “Patzi”. In the end, a bad experience led me to two outstanding professionals—and for that, I’m grateful.

I came to AZA Dental in Mexicali for a root canal. The team was very professional, attentive, and customer service-oriented. Compared to the traditional U.S. dental experience where I had multiple visits for a treatment, appointments months ahead of time which I had no idea if I would be able to make it, really felt it was not customer friendly. The AZA Dental team, starting with Aida was very accommodating- she recommended some hotel options, restaurants, and even offered transportation if I needed to get to and from the clinic. I was able to be seen the same day by Dra. Armida. My root canal went smooth and I was able to leave with great food recommendations. Mexicali is the capital of Baja California and it was fun exploring while getting dental work. Highly recommend AZA Dental in Mexicali to anyone seeking a great dental experience. Vivianne was great, communicated very patiently and went way beyond the usual service. Two implants and a new upper denture were all very well done and she made sure I was completely satisfied before she let me leave, taking the extra time to do some final adjustments so they all fit perfectly. I won't go any place else now that I've received this excellent care.

Dentaria was quick to respond to my request about my dental needs. Dra Claudia ( who speaks English) personally called me. She was open to receiving my records for review and explained she would personally perform her own evaluation before proceeding with any dental procedures. She provided me with an estimate of the charges for the procedures I inquired of as well as for the approximate length of stay required for the care from first appointment to completion, barring anything unforeseen. I arrived in the country the day before my first visit at the appointed time and met her and her staff. They were always on time with very little if any wait. After xrays and evaluations a plan of care and an itemized cost was developed including an unanticipated molar root canal. Dra Claudia arranged for an endodontist colleague of hers to come to Dentaria to perform the procedure. All other work was performed by her or her partner dentist. Over the several days of appointments she was always professional and on time. She was careful to make sure of my comfort as well as thoroughly explained everything she was doing. I am very happy with the treatment that the doctors in the clinic did. They put me in Invisalign and is the best treatment ever. It does not compare with the conventional brackets.
