After several years of wanting to get my teeth done with a complete makeover, but consistently turned off by the prices in the United States, I finally bit the bullet and scheduled a trip to Los Algodones, Mexico. I chose Simply Dental, as they had one of the highest ratings based upon a large number of reviews. Although I initially chose 3 different dentists, they were the easiest to communicate with and coordinate with, so, they won out. Suffice it to say, they did not disappoint. The experience was better than I have ever had at a dentist office, professional, courteous and overall a great experience. I had 16 teeth pulled, implants put in and temporary dentures. I will be returning in 3-4 months to have the permanent dentures put in with the implants. The cost was about 1/3 of what you would pay for in the US, and there is no sacrifice in quality of materials or care. As always, there are good and bad, so, do some research pertaining to what you are looking for. These guys have my full backing!!

I have been coming to Dr. Leon for 1 year. She has done several difficult procedures on me and my wife. I prefer her over American dentists because she does not overcharge or nickel and dime you with treatment plans. Dr. Leon has great skills and very helpful staff. They can find you a hotel if necessary. She has a tender touch, much like kitty soft paws. I was given a quote of 10 K for dental work in Phoenix with an extensive dental plan. In fact, the American dentist told me that I had a terrible problem and was not common to see. Dr Leon fixed my teeth and never complained and did not add a treatment plan. I have returned for other dental problems and she quickly gets me on my feet. One time, I need laughing gas and a tooth pulled. She charged me $450 for a crown, while the US dentist wanted 2 k and still made a big deal out of the deal. Overall, I wish American dentists would stop overcharging and not milk people for every dime, but in the meanwhile, I recommend Dr. Leon. I love her and her staff. She also takes credit cards and will pick you up at the border.

I have been here two times for dental work. Could not be more satisfied!!! 2 1/2 days. Crowns 4, root canal. Awesome experience!!! Rick was great!! Kept us informed the whole time. Would not go to anyone else!!!!

Cleaning and evaluation. Very professional. They did not try to encourage me to have procedures that were not necessary. Very clean office. Accommodating both English and Spanish.

Easy, quick, competent and personable. I had an exam, an ultrasonic cleaning and had a damaged filling replaced. I sent an email on Monday, they called me within an hour and set an appointment for the next afternoon. It was an easy walk from the border crossing. Great experience.

Dr. Edgar is the best. We have gone to him for some years, long trips from Missouri. He has done much work for us, including many crowns and some implants, as well as bone grafts. My estimate on implants in MO was $46,000-$58,000. When I got to Dr. Edgar, after a thorough examination, he refused to even do implants, saying I did not need them yet, and it would be malpractice to pull all of my teeth at that time. He gave me beautiful teeth for $5600. Over the years since, my husband and I have had additional implants, and we are extremely satisfied with Dr. Edgar. John explains everything to us in perfect English. We trust and recommend Dr. Edgar Guereo.

I'm from Canada and had a complete set of dentures made for me by Dr. Victor, and the entire experience was very positive from the moment I walked in the door. I had a total of 8 crowns done on the top row and I could not be happier! The staff and dentist (Dr. Lopez) were incredibly professional and I felt right at home in their care. It was a great value (especially compared to the United States) and the work was done beautifully. They completely transformed my smile and I could not be any happier! Great experience! I went to this clinic to have my teeth cleaned. Originally I wanted a tooth filled, but it was too far gone to save it. Having this work done was definitely worth the money. I paid about half or a third of the price it would have cost me in Canada. I’m very happy with the service and results. The clinic was fairly good. I’m back in Canada now, but I’ll definitely consider having treatment with Ideal Dental again. It’s difficult to say what the best part of a dentist visit is (I mean, you’re essentially paying someone for pain). However, the staff were great. Everyone was so happy and friendly. The technician who spoke English well, translated for me when I didn’t understand. It’s kind of a community clinic that's a fairly long taxi ride from any of the main centres in Mexico. I thought they were three blocks from the main centre, but they were actually miles away.
