Rating from 112 Reviews My impressions were so good as every staff member treats you like you were familyWalter, Mexico, 14 Dec 17

I had a root canal and two crowns done in November of 2016. The treatment I received was excellent. The clinic is the cleanest I have ever been to. While I was there they cleaned the washrooms three times. All the door handles were sterilized every hour. They have the most professional dentist. The lady at the front office is just a darling and so knowledgeable. I brought a Canadian insurance form and she filled it out for me without a problem. I sent it in and received my money without any problems. I have told so many of my friends about this clinic. I chose this clinic because of all the excellent reviews online. My impressions were so good as every staff member treats you like you were family. What a beautiful clinic it is. It is so superior to any clinic I have visited in Canada. Also, you cannot believe the money I saved. I was impressed how they showed me in writing exactly the total cost and they never charged one cent more. I won't go anywhere else for dental.

Dr Gallegos is very good at root canals, I did not feel any pain whatsoever ever and just a little later. Which Ibruprophen took care of and no pain the next day! Cosmetic Dentist in Nuevo Progreso Dental Artistry

(866) 260-4253 Benito Juarez 217, Nuevo Progreso, 88810
Rating from 37 Reviews I am very happySondra, US, 26 Jun 17

I needed a lot of dental work. Multiple teeth pulled, Bone grafts, inplants, and crowns. I also have anxiety issues. I am very happy so far with my crowns and how painless it has all been so far. I am excited to get the teeth on my implants. They were very kind, patient and took the time to talk me through everything.

Gold Crown $400  -  $500
Gold is the most biocompatible non-toxic material used in dentistry today. It is non-corrosive and hypo-allergenic. Golds wear rates and coefficient of thermal expansion is very similar to enamel, and thus achieves a better natural fit. Gold margins do not break or chip even when thinned and polished. As mentioned before, less tooth structure is removed when preparing teeth for gold, which leaves the tooth stronger and healthier. The greatest advantage of using gold is its longevity, which can actually make it LESS costly in the long run. Gold easily outlasts other materials three to five times longer. When describing other materials, dentists talk in terms of years of service. When talking about gold, we speak in terms of decades of service. This idea is not lost on discerning patients and it is a huge motivating factor for them to select gold. For cast gold and gold foil restorations to achieve decades of service, they must be placed with the highest levels of skill and precision, so it is important to seek a dentist who has quality experience with the required techniques. Using RV Tucker techniques can produce a "margin" so tight that the gap next to the gold crown is less than the diameter of the bacteria that can cause future decay and damage after the crown is complete!!
Dental Crowns $150  -  $400
A dental crown is a cap-like restoration used to cover a damaged tooth. Crowns can give support to misshapen or badly broken teeth and permanently replace missing teeth to complete a smile or improve a bite pattern. They may be molded from metal, ceramic, plastics, or combinations of all three. They are cemented in place and coated to make them more natural looking. Historically, a variety of materials have been used as tooth replacements. The ancient Egyptians used animal teeth and pieces of bone as primitive replacement materials. More recently, artificial teeth have been fabricated from substances such as ivory, porcelain, and even platinum. With modern technology, high quality tooth replacements can be made from synthetic plastic resins, ceramic composites, and lightweight metal alloys.
Permanent Crown $150  -  $450
Permanent crowns can be made from all metal, porcelain-fused-to-metal, all resin, or all ceramic.Metals used in crowns include gold alloy, other alloys (for example, palladium) or a base-metal alloy (for example, nickel or chromium). Compared with other crown types, less tooth structure needs to be removed with metal crowns, and tooth wear to opposing teeth is kept to a minimum. Metal crowns withstand biting and chewing forces well and probably last the longest in terms of wear down. Also, metal crowns rarely chip or break. The metallic color is the main drawback. Metal crowns are a good choice for out-of-sight molars.Porcelain-fused-to-metal dental crowns can be color matched to your adjacent teeth (unlike the metallic crowns). However, more wearing to the opposing teeth occurs with this crown type compared with metal or resin crowns. The crowns porcelain portion can also chip or break off. Next to all-ceramic crowns, porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns look most like normal teeth. However, sometimes the metal underlying the crowns porcelain can show through as a dark line, especially at the gum line and even more so if your gums recede. These crowns can be a good choice for front or back teeth.All-resin dental crowns are less expensive than other crown types. However, they wear down over time and are more prone to fractures than porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns.All-ceramic or all-porcelain dental crowns provide the best natural color match than any other crown type and may be more suitable for people with metal allergies. However, they are not as strong as porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns and they wear down opposing teeth a little more than metal or resin crowns. All-ceramic crowns are a good choice for front teeth.Temporary versus permanent. Temporary crowns can be made in your dentists office whereas permanent crowns are made in a dental laboratory.

Evolution Dental Care

AV.COLON 201, X 24 AND 26, MERIDA, 97070
Rating from 6 Reviews The dentist was a slow, careful craftsman, careful to keep my pain to a minimumPat, US, 16 Oct 17

I had a missing molar. My US dentist estimated $4000US to put in a permanent bridge anchored on crowns on adjoining teeth. Dr. Gomez at Evolution made me an estimate of ca. $650US - 12,000 pesos - to do the procedure. When I got to the clinic, the dentist did a complete and thorough cleaning, pointed out some problems and did three acrylic fillings for $33/each. The bridge went well, and, being under my budget, I also had badly worn lower incisors corrected. I figure I got for about $1,000 dental work that would have cost at least $5,000 at a US dentist. Dr. Gomez was a slow, careful craftsman, careful to keep my pain to a minimum. All around excellent - never hurried and always caring.

IDEAL DENTAL CENTER

Tipografia 160 b, 20 de noviemre, Venustiano Carranza, 15300
Rating from 1 Review Having this work done was definitely worth the moneyMike, Canada, 24 Jul 18

I went to this clinic to have my teeth cleaned. Originally I wanted a tooth filled, but it was too far gone to save it. Having this work done was definitely worth the money. I paid about half or a third of the price it would have cost me in Canada. I’m very happy with the service and results. The clinic was fairly good. I’m back in Canada now, but I’ll definitely consider having treatment with Ideal Dental again. It’s difficult to say what the best part of a dentist visit is (I mean, you’re essentially paying someone for pain). However, the staff were great. Everyone was so happy and friendly. The technician who spoke English well, translated for me when I didn’t understand. It’s kind of a community clinic that's a fairly long taxi ride from any of the main centres in Mexico. I thought they were three blocks from the main centre, but they were actually miles away.
