Rating from 115 Reviews Experience was excellentRobert, US, 06 Mar 17

After sending an x-ray of my teeth and some photos to a few dentists, ODC presented a plan that fit within my budget. Dr Carolina worked on my teeth, with fillings and two three tooth zirconium bridges across the front. She is an excellent craftsman. I felt no pain, enjoyed the beautifully decorated facility, and the very happy and kind workers there. I'm bragging about it to my friends, and am looking forward to going back in August so they can fit the bridge on my implants. Experience was excellent, professional, but personal. The clinic is beautifully decorated. The service was exceptional.

Excellent from start to finish. Was going for a full set of dentures and a lot of extractions. Deeo met us at the border walked us to the office. Was just as friendly and awesome as he had been on the phone prior while setting up an appointment, giving quotes and information. Work started the same day. I did change my mind on lower teeth the next day again given several options and made a choice. Excellent work performed that day and I am very happy with results. Left with a warranty on work performed and a quote in writing well for a year. Deeo, Alex, Doctor Jorge, Rouian and Heri all go the extra mile to ensure your comfortable happy with results. Would highly recommend English spoken fluently, if you have avoided the dentist because of fear of price this is your one-stop dental. Will be back with family members. Quality and professional from start to finish. Awesome staff Deeo, Alex, Doctor Jorge, Rouian and Heri wonderful, friendly and go the extra mile to make your experience a pleasant one. Dr. Melissa was really great. First of all, Erika picked us up at our hotel, which was appreciated. She was genuine and real. She was honest and told my wife and I what our problems were. I think she is a great dentist and a good person. I feel totally secure in her capable hands. She deserves a 10/10. We will talk about the treatment after all is done. She listened to us and made no pressure. It was great to see how she reassured my wife who is scared of needles and of dentists in general. Erika was also very nice to us. For a small office, her equipment was modern.

I went for teeth cleaning. The dentist was very thorough and explained very clearly what he was seeing as we looked at my crate. Excellent! I emailed the office from their website to book an appointment. Someone called me within five minutes of sending the email and the appointment was set for two days later. Then I got an email confirmation and a reminder call the next day.

1) What are dental crowns? A crown isa type of dental restoration that fully cups over that portion of a tooth thatlies at and above the gum line. Once itsbeen cemented into place, a crown, in effect, becomes the tooths new outersurface. 2) What purpose do crownsserve? Crowns are one of dentistrys most versatile restorations. They offer a way to repair and strengthen damaged teeth. They alsoprovide a way to improve a tooths appearance, including color, shape and evenapparent alignment.
Porcelain Crown from $400
Some dental crowns are fabricated in a manner where their full thickness is porcelain (dental ceramic). These crowns can possess a translucency that makes them the most cosmetically pleasing of all of the different types of dental crowns. Although they can be very life like in appearance, the overall strength of all-porcelain dental crowns is less than other types of crowns. While they can be a good choice for front teeth, due to the hefty chewing and biting forces that humans can generate, all-porcelain dental crowns may not be the best choice for back teeth. Your dentists judgement will be required on this point.

Rating from 30 Reviews I have not had any issues and don't expect I willMrs_Charlene, Canada, 03 Apr 18

I had major dental work done on several occasions in Canada at a cost of well over 50K. Each time the work failed, so I found myself back at a periodontist now having to resort to dental implants. I had one done at a cost of 6K and so far, all is well. I knew it was inevitable that I would need several more implants. I was sharing my story with a friend, she told me that she and her husband had been having their dental work done in Mexico for years due to the quality and at a fraction of what it costs in Canada. My first reaction was "are you kidding me"! My husband and I then did a bit of research online, reading various reviews and testimonies of others from Canada and the US that had work done in Mexico. We did not see one negative comment. We soon discovered other friends and friends of friends also had their work done in Mexico. They were very pleased with the outcome and the cost. We wanted to have the work done in Puerto Vallarta, as we generally travel there once a year for vacation. We called a couple clinics and chose the one we did because they were prompt to contact us. The office Manager spoke very good English so language was not a barrier. My treatment is ongoing but on my first trip (with treatment over three days) I had 10 implants, 6 extractions and 6 root canals. The cost of 10 implants alone in Canada would have been 60K. We chose Dr Leticia Armas Tejeda's clinic located at Plaza Marina because of the quick response to our inquiry and the fact that Jose, the Office Manager, spoke very good English. We communicated via text and email without any difficulty. I was picked up at the Hotel by Jose and taken to the clinic where I met Dr Leticia who is lovely. A major plus for this clinic is Dr Karen. She too speaks amazing English and was so very helpful and caring. You can imagine how nervous I was but she was with me through each treatment explaining what was going on. They have a team of specialists doing each procedure. She even went as far as to go to the pharmacy with us, to make sure we got what we needed because we only speak Poquito Spanish. I will return on the 31st of October 2018, to have the crowns and bridges completed. Dr Karen keeps in touch getting updates on how I am doing. I have not had any issues and don't expect I will.

Went in on my sister's recommendation. I could not be happier with the work! Very professional staff that walked me through each step of the process. They are very efficient and make sure that that the work is done 100%. They had to send my crowns back to the lab for proper shaping and they stayed open late to make sure I left happy. Will definitely use them again for any treatment me or my family require.

Gold Crown $400 - $500
Gold is the most biocompatible non-toxic material used in dentistry today. It is non-corrosive and hypo-allergenic. Golds wear rates and coefficient of thermal expansion is very similar to enamel, and thus achieves a better natural fit. Gold margins do not break or chip even when thinned and polished. As mentioned before, less tooth structure is removed when preparing teeth for gold, which leaves the tooth stronger and healthier. The greatest advantage of using gold is its longevity, which can actually make it LESS costly in the long run. Gold easily outlasts other materials three to five times longer. When describing other materials, dentists talk in terms of years of service. When talking about gold, we speak in terms of decades of service. This idea is not lost on discerning patients and it is a huge motivating factor for them to select gold. For cast gold and gold foil restorations to achieve decades of service, they must be placed with the highest levels of skill and precision, so it is important to seek a dentist who has quality experience with the required techniques. Using RV Tucker techniques can produce a "margin" so tight that the gap next to the gold crown is less than the diameter of the bacteria that can cause future decay and damage after the crown is complete!!
Dental Crowns $150 - $400
A dental crown is a cap-like restoration used to cover a damaged tooth. Crowns can give support to misshapen or badly broken teeth and permanently replace missing teeth to complete a smile or improve a bite pattern. They may be molded from metal, ceramic, plastics, or combinations of all three. They are cemented in place and coated to make them more natural looking. Historically, a variety of materials have been used as tooth replacements. The ancient Egyptians used animal teeth and pieces of bone as primitive replacement materials. More recently, artificial teeth have been fabricated from substances such as ivory, porcelain, and even platinum. With modern technology, high quality tooth replacements can be made from synthetic plastic resins, ceramic composites, and lightweight metal alloys.
Permanent Crown $150 - $450
Permanent crowns can be made from all metal, porcelain-fused-to-metal, all resin, or all ceramic.Metals used in crowns include gold alloy, other alloys (for example, palladium) or a base-metal alloy (for example, nickel or chromium). Compared with other crown types, less tooth structure needs to be removed with metal crowns, and tooth wear to opposing teeth is kept to a minimum. Metal crowns withstand biting and chewing forces well and probably last the longest in terms of wear down. Also, metal crowns rarely chip or break. The metallic color is the main drawback. Metal crowns are a good choice for out-of-sight molars.Porcelain-fused-to-metal dental crowns can be color matched to your adjacent teeth (unlike the metallic crowns). However, more wearing to the opposing teeth occurs with this crown type compared with metal or resin crowns. The crowns porcelain portion can also chip or break off. Next to all-ceramic crowns, porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns look most like normal teeth. However, sometimes the metal underlying the crowns porcelain can show through as a dark line, especially at the gum line and even more so if your gums recede. These crowns can be a good choice for front or back teeth.All-resin dental crowns are less expensive than other crown types. However, they wear down over time and are more prone to fractures than porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns.All-ceramic or all-porcelain dental crowns provide the best natural color match than any other crown type and may be more suitable for people with metal allergies. However, they are not as strong as porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns and they wear down opposing teeth a little more than metal or resin crowns. All-ceramic crowns are a good choice for front teeth.Temporary versus permanent. Temporary crowns can be made in your dentists office whereas permanent crowns are made in a dental laboratory.

I have had 2 appointments with Dr Diana. First to whiten my teeth. I've had several other dentists in the US that said my teeth could not be whitened because I had too many pocelain fillings. She was successful in whitening them! 2nd appointment to was for 3 porcelain fillings. Very impressed with her work; I will return to her for any further dental work. Wonderful! I would not go to anyone else!

Front tooth crown I'm self-employed and travel a lot, so I'm used to getting creative to make health care work for me (read: by leaving the U.S.) I've seen a lot of dentists outside the U.S. for cleanings, cavities, etc, but this was the first time I'd done anything major outside the U.S., so was a tiny bit nervous. I went in principally to have my front crown replaced, a pretty big deal to color match properly and get to look just like the other front tooth. Communication was excellent and in perfect English, both in booking the appointment with office personnel, asking questions beforehand and with the doctor in-office. Dr. Rodriguez is very nice and friendly. I ended up having my front crown replaced, one inlay, one filling, and a rigid mouth guard, all done extremely well and all for a fraction of the price it would have cost in the U.S. without insurance. I'd definitely go back if I needed something major done, or happened to be back in Mexico City, or Tijuana where the other office is. Extremely pleased!

Gold Crown $500
The best option as for Porcelain Fused to a Metallic Core. Depending on the type of work to be done, the amount of gold may range from 40% up to 97%. This is also called a High Noble Alloy
Dental Crowns $350 - $600
Is the same as a CAP. This procedure is used usually after a root canal or a post has been placed in because of major tooth decay. In some cases it is used to change the position and shape of dental pieces due to cosmetic purposes. A cap may be PORCELAIN FUSED TO METAL (the cheapest), PORCELAIN FUSED TO GOLD (the best in my opinion) and ALL-CERAMIC (the newest technique). Depending on each case, one kind or another may be the best choice. Remember, each patient has different needs and different expectations.
Porcelain Crown $450
We use e.Max monolitic crowns, which are shown to be the most resistant to fractures and literally without chipping. This is your best choice for cosmetic and long-lasting crowns
