Evolution Implant Center

Calle Segunda e Internacional L-6, Plaza Rio Colorado, Los Algodones, 21970
Rating from 4 Reviews These hard working, competent people helped me change my life out of misery.john, US, 12 Jun 16

I went to the Evolution dental clinic after being unable to afford the extensive work needed to restore my teeth after extended illness. I could not afford US dental costs even with Health insurance subsidies.$45,000 minimum and months of appointments. 24 crowns-2 extractions(difficult ones)-2-one tooth bridges-gum surgery--$4500 at Evolution Dental--Unbelievable Value! I chose Evolution after a close friend went there. He said they were working dentists that were not afraid to work and would not be afraid to take on such a huge job like the US dentists were I tried to use and did good work for a great price. I had a lot of work to do and only $4500 so gave them a try and every day I give thanks for my good fortune to find Eduardo and his family. I was given several options and chose the one that fit my pocketbook. I will return soon for two implants and am hoping to take my sister with me for several crowns. It has been 4 months since my work and all is still working well.I am no stranger to US dental work and was sure I would have problems with something like at home but have had no issues yet. I own my problems and know that crowns are a covering over a compromised tooth.Only a nut would think dental work is not a life long issue. These hard working, competent people helped me change my life out of misery.

Simply Dental

(866) 558-9536 Ave B 192, Los Algodones, 2197
Rating from 85 Reviews Quick, friendly, efficient and caringSharon, US, 22 Mar 18

I had a tooth extraction this past week. The total appointment took only 15 minutes. Dr. Enrique Lopez was wonderful. Quick, friendly, efficient and caring. Today I went back for a root canal. This was done by Dr. Benjamin Flores. He specializes in root canals. Again I found the service friendly and efficient. I filled out a 1-page questionnaire, made myself a cup of coffee and waited to be called. Everything in the office was state-of-the-art, beautifully decorated and painted in calming colors. Everyone in the waiting room was from the United States. One guy from Minnesota had just flown into town the day before JUST to come to THIS dentist office. I had done an exhaustive search online and Dr. Lopez received 4.8 out of 5 stars with over 1,800 reviews. At EXACTLY 9:00 am Dr. Enrique Lopez stepped through the door and called my name. As he led me to his work cubical I couldn't help but notice how clean, bright, modern and 'hi-tech' everything was.

Gold Crown $500 - $700
Dental Crowns $250 - $400
1) What are dental crowns? A crown isa type of dental restoration that fully cups over that portion of a tooth thatlies at and above the gum line. Once itsbeen cemented into place, a crown, in effect, becomes the tooths new outersurface. 2) What purpose do crownsserve? Crowns are one of dentistrys most versatile restorations. They offer a way to repair and strengthen damaged teeth. They alsoprovide a way to improve a tooths appearance, including color, shape and evenapparent alignment.
Porcelain Crown from $400
Some dental crowns are fabricated in a manner where their full thickness is porcelain (dental ceramic). These crowns can possess a translucency that makes them the most cosmetically pleasing of all of the different types of dental crowns. Although they can be very life like in appearance, the overall strength of all-porcelain dental crowns is less than other types of crowns. While they can be a good choice for front teeth, due to the hefty chewing and biting forces that humans can generate, all-porcelain dental crowns may not be the best choice for back teeth. Your dentists judgement will be required on this point.

Cosmetic Dentist in Nuevo Progreso Dental Artistry

(866) 260-4253 Benito Juarez 217, Nuevo Progreso, 88810
Rating from 37 Reviews The dentist and technicians are highly proficientPhilippe, US, 10 Aug 17

I had three root canals, three crowns, and several fillings done at Dental Artistry. Think about how long it would take and how much it would cost here in the States. Here, the estimate was about $17,000. At this particular clinic it was $1600...PERIOD!! It also only took about a day and a half to have everything completed. I can't speak highly enough of the quality of the work done with a lot less discomfort than I ever encountered in the States. I've urged people close to me to contact Mr. Juan Ricardo, get an estimate, and go as fast as they can to get their dental work done. I chose Dental Artistry due to the communication I had with Mr. Juan Ricardo, the reviews, and the cost estimate. I arrived and Mr. Ricardo was waiting for me across the street and escorted me to the clinic. I've been to a clinic in Nuevo Laredo many years ago and this one was nicer by far. Of course, the US clinics are luxurious comparatively speaking but this one was clean, had the necessary equipment, and an extremely personable and professional staff. Also, if you happen to need an orthodontist you will get probably the most experienced one you've ever had. He's a Grandfather-type with over 30 years of experience and as friendly and reassuring as they come. The dentist and technicians are highly proficient as well and make sure you are in the least amount of discomfort as possible. I have no reason not to HIGHLY RECOMMEND this outstanding clinic!!

Gold Crown $400 - $500
Gold is the most biocompatible non-toxic material used in dentistry today. It is non-corrosive and hypo-allergenic. Golds wear rates and coefficient of thermal expansion is very similar to enamel, and thus achieves a better natural fit. Gold margins do not break or chip even when thinned and polished. As mentioned before, less tooth structure is removed when preparing teeth for gold, which leaves the tooth stronger and healthier. The greatest advantage of using gold is its longevity, which can actually make it LESS costly in the long run. Gold easily outlasts other materials three to five times longer. When describing other materials, dentists talk in terms of years of service. When talking about gold, we speak in terms of decades of service. This idea is not lost on discerning patients and it is a huge motivating factor for them to select gold. For cast gold and gold foil restorations to achieve decades of service, they must be placed with the highest levels of skill and precision, so it is important to seek a dentist who has quality experience with the required techniques. Using RV Tucker techniques can produce a "margin" so tight that the gap next to the gold crown is less than the diameter of the bacteria that can cause future decay and damage after the crown is complete!!
Dental Crowns $150 - $400
A dental crown is a cap-like restoration used to cover a damaged tooth. Crowns can give support to misshapen or badly broken teeth and permanently replace missing teeth to complete a smile or improve a bite pattern. They may be molded from metal, ceramic, plastics, or combinations of all three. They are cemented in place and coated to make them more natural looking. Historically, a variety of materials have been used as tooth replacements. The ancient Egyptians used animal teeth and pieces of bone as primitive replacement materials. More recently, artificial teeth have been fabricated from substances such as ivory, porcelain, and even platinum. With modern technology, high quality tooth replacements can be made from synthetic plastic resins, ceramic composites, and lightweight metal alloys.
Permanent Crown $150 - $450
Permanent crowns can be made from all metal, porcelain-fused-to-metal, all resin, or all ceramic.Metals used in crowns include gold alloy, other alloys (for example, palladium) or a base-metal alloy (for example, nickel or chromium). Compared with other crown types, less tooth structure needs to be removed with metal crowns, and tooth wear to opposing teeth is kept to a minimum. Metal crowns withstand biting and chewing forces well and probably last the longest in terms of wear down. Also, metal crowns rarely chip or break. The metallic color is the main drawback. Metal crowns are a good choice for out-of-sight molars.Porcelain-fused-to-metal dental crowns can be color matched to your adjacent teeth (unlike the metallic crowns). However, more wearing to the opposing teeth occurs with this crown type compared with metal or resin crowns. The crowns porcelain portion can also chip or break off. Next to all-ceramic crowns, porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns look most like normal teeth. However, sometimes the metal underlying the crowns porcelain can show through as a dark line, especially at the gum line and even more so if your gums recede. These crowns can be a good choice for front or back teeth.All-resin dental crowns are less expensive than other crown types. However, they wear down over time and are more prone to fractures than porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns.All-ceramic or all-porcelain dental crowns provide the best natural color match than any other crown type and may be more suitable for people with metal allergies. However, they are not as strong as porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns and they wear down opposing teeth a little more than metal or resin crowns. All-ceramic crowns are a good choice for front teeth.Temporary versus permanent. Temporary crowns can be made in your dentists office whereas permanent crowns are made in a dental laboratory.

I have had 2 appointments with Dr Diana. First to whiten my teeth. I've had several other dentists in the US that said my teeth could not be whitened because I had too many pocelain fillings. She was successful in whitening them! 2nd appointment to was for 3 porcelain fillings. Very impressed with her work; I will return to her for any further dental work. Wonderful! I would not go to anyone else!

Evolution Dental Care

AV.COLON 201, X 24 AND 26, MERIDA, 97070
Rating from 6 Reviews The dentist was a slow, careful craftsman, careful to keep my pain to a minimumPat, US, 16 Oct 17

I had a missing molar. My US dentist estimated $4000US to put in a permanent bridge anchored on crowns on adjoining teeth. Dr. Gomez at Evolution made me an estimate of ca. $650US - 12,000 pesos - to do the procedure. When I got to the clinic, the dentist did a complete and thorough cleaning, pointed out some problems and did three acrylic fillings for $33/each. The bridge went well, and, being under my budget, I also had badly worn lower incisors corrected. I figure I got for about $1,000 dental work that would have cost at least $5,000 at a US dentist. Dr. Gomez was a slow, careful craftsman, careful to keep my pain to a minimum. All around excellent - never hurried and always caring.
