Permanent Crown $350 - $450
Permanent crowns can be made from all metal, porcelain-fused-to-metal, all resin, or all ceramic. Metals used in crowns include gold alloy, other alloys (for example, palladium) or a base-metal alloy (for example, nickel or chromium). Compared with other crown types, less tooth structure needs to be removed with metal crowns, and tooth wear to opposing teeth is kept to a minimum. Metal crowns withstand biting and chewing forces well and probably last the longest in terms of wear down. Also, metal crowns rarely chip or break. The metallic color is the main drawback. Metal crowns are a good choice for out-of-sight molars. Porcelain-fused-to-metal dental crowns can be color matched to your adjacent teeth (unlike the metallic crowns). However, more wearing to the opposing teeth occurs with this crown type compared with metal or resin crowns. The crowns porcelain portion can also chip or break off. Next to all-ceramic crowns, porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns look most like normal teeth. However, sometimes the metal underlying the crowns porcelain can show through as a dark line, especially at the gum line and even more so if your gums recede. These crowns can be a good choice for front or back teeth. All-resin dental crowns are less expensive than other crown types. However, they wear down over time and are more prone to fractures than porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns. All-ceramic or all-porcelain dental crowns provide the best natural color match than any other crown type and may be more suitable for people with metal allergies. However, they are not as strong as porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns and they wear down opposing teeth a little more than metal or resin crowns. All-ceramic crowns are a good choice for front teeth. Temporary versus permanent. Temporary crowns can be made in your dentists office whereas permanent crowns are made in a dental laboratory.
Dental Crowns $350 - $450
A dental crown is a cap-like restoration used to cover a damaged tooth. Crowns can give support to misshapen or badly broken teeth and permanently replace missing teeth to complete a smile or improve a bite pattern. They may be molded from metal, ceramic, plastics, or combinations of all three. They are cemented in place and coated to make them more natural looking. Historically, a variety of materials have been used as tooth replacements. The ancient Egyptians used animal teeth and pieces of bone as primitive replacement materials. More recently, artificial teeth have been fabricated from substances such as ivory, porcelain, and even platinum. With modern technology, high quality tooth replacements can be made from synthetic plastic resins, ceramic composites, and lightweight metal alloys.
Temporary Crown $30 - $50
A temporary crown is a provisional, short term restoration used in dentistry. Usually the temporary crown is constructed from a chemical-cure composite, although alternative systems using aluminium crown forms are occasionally used by practitioners. The temporary material is shaped by the dentist to form a tooth shape that protects the prepared tooth, prevents damage to the periodontal tissues (gums) and disguises the prepared tooth to a degree until the final, definitive restoration can be made by a dental technician. A temporary crown will usually be cemented in place with a soft temporary dental cement, such as Temp-Bond NE. This allows easy removal when fitting the definitve restoration. If a temporary crown becomes decemented, it is important that a dentist examine the patient as overeruption of the opposing teeth may prevent accurate fitting of the final crown.

I’m giving the clinic 5-stars and will definitely go back againAnonymous, San Antonio , 13 06 19

I was hesitant to go into Mexico for dental work with all the ‘problems’ at our border. However; my experience was wonderful! Irma from the clinic met me on the US side and walked me over. I had a new bridge put in very quickly and afterwards they walked me over to a pharmacy to get meds to manage pain or swelling even tho I had no pain or swelling. I’m giving the clinic 5-stars and will definitely go back again!

I can honestly say it is the best dental experience I ever hadMW, Brenham,TX , 16 05 18

Dr. Fabian Munoz recently ( April 2018) did multiple, fillings, crowns and bridges plus a root canal for me. He does excellent work with minimal pain ( amazing for that much work ) and his prices are very reasonable. His two assistants were also very nice, efficient, the clinic is updated and clean. I highly recommend Dr. Munoz to anyone. Thank you, Dr. Munoz! A friend recommended Dr. Munoz and I can honestly say it is the best dental experience I ever had. Dr. Munoz and staff are friendly and funny. His work is excellent and he is very gentle with his patients. You will not be disappointed using this clinic.
