Rating from 6 Reviews My confidence is 100%Mr., UK, 08 Feb 17My top right front tooth had become very loose at end of November, 2016.
I had been told by my regular dentist, (who's brilliant, but dosen't do implants) that I required implants, due to severe gum recession, & bone loss. She suggested a dentist in Cottingham.
I enquired for an appointment, and was given a date of 20-12-16, & there would be a fee of £123. Treatment would then cost £2,500 per implant. I decided to search the internet, & this site 'WhatClinic', gave me all the dentists in the area dealing with implants. Having contacted 3 on the list, all required an examination fee upwards of £85. All of this is private care, because the NHS do not do implants!
After a return email from Peter Riding, I made an appointment with Beverly House Dental Practice, who fitted me in for an examination on 6-12-16.
After meeting Peter, and feeling at ease with his confident manner, went ahead with the examination. An hour later, and after extensive probing, & x-rays, a course of action was agreed upon.
I then cancelled my appointment with the cottingham dentist, happy with my decision to go with Peter. I saw him again on 15-12-16, where the work of removing a 'three bridge' set of front teeth, then preparation for a 'five bridge' set continued. So, I had an extraction, a temporary bridge fitted, and a posterior composite filling. This took an hour & half.
After a couple of days to settle down, I'm so pleased with the outcome of Peter's ability. My confidence is 100%, and none can tell the temporary ones are not my own teeth! I will rate Peter as Absolutely brilliant!
I now have to attend 4 sessions of deep cleaning with the dental hygenist, to try to keep the rest of my teeth! (by the way, I've already had my first session with Maxine, who's pointed me in the right direction about brushing teeth..... please ask your dentist how to do this:- we all THINK we know the correct way, but just confirm it)
Sorry for all the explanation, but if this helps anyone decide which dentist to visit, it's well worth the effort! If you've read all of the above, then you know why!
