Sedation for dental treatments UK

I visited this clinic to have anti-wrinkle treatment for bruxism. After clenching and grinding my teeth for years, I had almost resigned to waking up with headaches and jaw pain. I was advised to see Dr Raza by my NHS dentist for the management of this condition when I fractured a tooth. The muscle relaxant injections helped bring me relief! I am truly grateful to Dr Raza for his expert opinion and support. I will return in a few months to get re-injected. I would recommend this clinic to anyone suffering from bruxism.

I went today to see Mr Glassford, what a brilliant guy, top of his game but so friendly and down to earth. The nurses are also lovely and friendly. I have been using this practice for many years. It's excellent. They have recently started treating my adult son who has autism and learning difficulties. They have been brilliant with him. Also, I left my appointment yesterday after having the best and most thorough clean and polish I have ever had!

I chose Smile Kind as I required specialist surgical treatment not available at my normal general practice dentist. They are on my general practice dentist's list for complex referrals. Also my wife had excellent treatment earlier this year at Smile Kind, to remove a troublesome wisdom tooth. My treatment was to extract a cracked and infected molar that was beyond repair, followed by a bone graft and associated initial procedures in preparation for a planned implant later this year. This process, from my initial assessment meeting with Sami and Sarah, the surgery itself last week, and next day post-op follow up phone call were completed with total professionalism and high skill. The surgery site in my jaw is already settling down after several days. Everything was explained in advance, the surgery itself was pain and stress-free, and patient care was exemplary. I haven’t seen a dentist for over 15 years due to complete fear. I started with a few broken teeth that for the last 8 years have me in consistent pain, abscess and unable to eat what I want. It’s felt like an utter curse. After being bashed about by my family to go and see a dentist I found Contemporary Dental. My first visit I was asked some questions and given a mass of X-rays. Straight away mark and his entire team were great, I was super nervous to even have anyone look due to embarrassment however mark was fantastic. I said I was nervous and anything I have done, I need to be sedated. Normally this is the point I’m given a massive speech about I should try it first blah blah blah, but not here, mark just said “fine not a problem”. Everything I asked for he could accommodate. My first appointment to have 2 severely broken teeth removed was yesterday, I was extremely nervous however when I got in, I paid, said hello, laid down and they put me under sedation. I floated through the entire procedure and woke up to mark just finishing up, asking if I was all good and a lady holding my hand. Gave me meds and my chaperone took me home. Honestly, it was a breeze and my issues sorted. You may look at the prices and think expensive, maybe not, who knows, all I can say is the service is incredibly good and worth every single penny. I’d go back in a heartbeat at the sight of any issue.
