What are Clear Braces?

Clear braces are braces that are made of composite materials that blend with the colour of teeth. They have transparent plastic brackets and use clear elastic or clear white metal wires to make them invisible or less noticeable. They are used to correct the alignment of the teeth of adults and adolescent patients. Fitting clear braces require two to three visits to the orthodontist. The orthodontist may take 60 to 90 minutes to fit them on the teeth of patients.

I chose Smile Kind as I required specialist surgical treatment not available at my normal general practice dentist. They are on my general practice dentist's list for complex referrals. Also my wife had excellent treatment earlier this year at Smile Kind, to remove a troublesome wisdom tooth. My treatment was to extract a cracked and infected molar that was beyond repair, followed by a bone graft and associated initial procedures in preparation for a planned implant later this year. This process, from my initial assessment meeting with Sami and Sarah, the surgery itself last week, and next day post-op follow up phone call were completed with total professionalism and high skill. The surgery site in my jaw is already settling down after several days. Everything was explained in advance, the surgery itself was pain and stress-free, and patient care was exemplary.
