Today I had my first check-up since "lockdown" and was very impressed with the service. Extensive measures and professionalism ere exhibited to ensure that there was minimal risk to staff or patients. I am a busy General Practitioner and despite living near Swansea feel it is a worthwhile investment of my time commuting to Penarth for dental services with the Smile Studio. Not only is the care received exemplary, but the staff all feel like friends. The personal interest in taking a genuine interest in my life goes far above and beyond what I would expect from any medical establishment and impresses me greatly. When I chipped a tooth just before I was due to fly and get married in 2019, The Smile Studio ensured that the experience was as stress-free as possible by ensuring the problem was fixed promptly and were very accommodating to my work commitments in doing so. I cannot recommend the team highly enough for their technical knowledge, professionalism and for always going above & beyond for their patients.
After suffering the embarrassment of a front black tooth caused by a root canal gone wrong, which I'd had years ago, and which two previous dentists told me that it couldn't be fixed, and that a crown on my tooth was not possible. I was lucky enough to be taken on as a patient by Advance Dental Care. I was placed with the dentist named Kas, he told me the reason why my tooth had discoloured so badly and explained what treatment he could offer to put things right. So firstly he did a re-route canal, but unfortunately my tooth was so dark that the re-route didn't make a lot of difference. So I went ahead and had the crown - which other dentists said was not possible, and now I have a lovely white crown - which for all the world (matches) looks like my own tooth, and I couldn't be happier. It not only looks great, but has given me my confidence back, and now I'm happy to smile properly again. Also, I'm nervous of dentists, but Kas and the dental assistants made me feel at ease from the beginning. Plus the receptionists are nice and polite, so much so that I'm actually looking forward to going back to arrange a mini plate for my couple of missing back teeth.

Been with this dentist since I was a child, I recently had to have treatment on my teeth as they were causing a problem, had to have 20 fillings as my teeth have eroded due to Acid reflux. I found everyone very nice and supportive of me. I suffer from panic attacks, but Afion Roberts and he's assistants were extremely nice and made me feel very much at ease, would highly recommend them to anyone.
I have just finished treatment with Dr Kolahi for cosmetic dentistry and extensive work that was necessary before the cosmetic could be done. Dr Kolahi and her team have been amazing with me throughout, being so mindful of my fear of dentistry at all times. I am delighted with the results. My wife had recently had a full set of dentures from her NHS dentist in Neath, at a cost of £250, which after many visits over several months were so poorly fitting that she could no longer use them to eat or talk properly. She visited Threeway dental laboratory at Talbot Green and after treatment from Simon, she now has a full set of dentures that fit perfectly, once again she can visit restaurants and can choose from the menu. I would recommend Threeway Dental Laboratory and Simon whose patience and understanding were second to none. Thank you, Simon.
