Needed root canal treatment and was very nervous. I was seen promptly by Ijaz Hussain, who took plenty of time to explain the procedure and reassure me. I agreed to start treatment immediately, and Ijaz and his lovely dental nurse, Isabel, were fantastic and very professional. Treatment was successful, and subsequently Nigel Saynor fitted a crown. Delighted with the outcome, and I would highly recommend Bramcote Dental Surgery. Thank you to all involved.
I am a very anxious patient and can absolutely recommend Dr Mike Powell and his wonderful welcoming team. I had to have treatment today and was really afraid. I need not have been. What I thought would be an unpleasant treatment was, in fact, not as bad as I thought it would be. Mike and his Nurse were so calm, kind and reassuring and I can't praise them enough. The environment is warm, calm and welcoming and above also very Covid safe. Fears just melt away, any doubts dissolve and patients are reassured by the extremely kind and friendly receptionists waiting to greet you.
Rang this guy Saturday morning as I had broken dentures in half went in and he repaired them. can't thank him enough as the quality of the repair was excellent. I recommend them to everyone.
Recommendation for anyone looking for a dentist in the Chorley area: My wife and I have been with the practice for 10+ years, initially under (the excellent) Dr. Melia and latterly with the 'new' team following his retirement. All-round excellent service - from Reception staff, availability of appointments, reminders, etc., through to treatment. This has included fillings, whitening, an extraction (thanks to Claire Manley for the options and the power of her right arm to remove a molar with no adverse consequences/follow-up requirements) and an ongoing programme of visits to Hygienist Kerry, who's putting right several years of (my) neglect. My wife insists we also mention Stuart Fishwick, shortly moving to Scotland and will be missed, too. Thanks all round, therefore, and I will be back for the next check-ups in a couple of months.
