It was said that it is one of the most wire treatment clinics in Maltepe and that there are 2 orthodontists. They explained my treatment planning in very good detail. This clinic was referred to me by a friend who was happy with the work they had done at Focus. I had a crown bridge made to cover a missing tooth and 20 crowns in total to cover very permanently discolored teeth. I am very happy with the work carried out and the professional service I received from Focus Dental. They offer a very high standard of work and communicate very clearly and well from start to finish.

Here is my full detailed review of my treatment with Dr Cem Baysal: I first got in contact with Dr Baysal in the summer of 2022 after vast online research for dental work abroad. I came across Dr Baysal on whatclinic as he was number 1 rated in Istanbul. He had THOUSANDS of fantastic reviews backed up with decades of experience as well as being a professor in dentistry at multiple universities across Europe. It seemed a no-brainer to go with Dr. Baysal. I contacted Dr. Baysal via WhatsApp and gave him a brief overview of my dental situation and what I require. He then proceeded to make suggestions and sent his price list and fees for various treatments. Once I booked my flights he booked me in for an initial consultation the day after I land in Istanbul. I arrived in Istanbul November 2022 and discussed what I desired and created a treatment plan with Dr. Baysal. Upon reviewing the tomography (£35) Dr. Baysal advised I can have 3 dental implants for my missing teeth. The next day Dr. Baysal performed the initial implant surgery. I was given plenty of anaesthetic in and around the implant area so the surgery was painless. Just some pushing and pressure in the jawbone as you can imagine with inserting implants. Once the anaesthetic had worn off there was a little bit of pain but nothing ibuprofen couldn’t deal with. Dr. Baysal prescribed me 5 days worth of antibiotics to take post-surgery to avoid any potential infections. After the surgery, I was able to return home and needed to return after 5-6 months; known as the osteointegration period. After 6 months I returned in May 2023 to finish my treatment. Again this was an easy WhatsApp message to Dr. Baysal to let him know of my return. Upon returning I had another tomography to review the implants and make sure they were successful which they were. Now we could proceed with completing the dental implants. As well as the dental implants I discussed crowning 6 of my other upper teeth to create a nice natural smile. Dr. Baysal said this was possible so we created impressions for the crowns on my natural teeth and the dental implants. The preparation for the crowns was painless, performing ‘shoulder preparation’ which is a high-level skill to maintain gum health and the life of your teeth. Dr. Baysal and his fantastic dental nurses always provide plenty of anaesthetics to make sure you don’t feel anything throughout the procedure. Once my teeth were prepped for crowns and my implants ready for abutments and crowns Dr. Baysal placed temporary crowns over my teeth (mimicking my natural teeth) so I could carry on eating and drinking as normal. 6 days had passed and my crowns were ready to be fitted. This again was painless, the only uncomfortable parts of the process were the cold air on my prepped teeth which were sensitive and finishing the tightening of the dental implants. Once this was completed Dr. Baysal made sure my bite was correct and everything was secure and that I was happy with my new smile. Which I absolutely am! My treatment of 3 dental implants and 6 zirconium crowns came to roughly €7000 (£6000 £1=€1.15). This was half of what the treatment would have costed at my private dentist in the UK. Dr. Baysal’s clinic is located in the very affluent area of Nisantisi in Istanbul so it’s a pleasant stay in one of the many affordable local hotels. I have recommended Dr. Baysal to at least a dozen friends and family in the week after finishing my treatment and returning to the UK. They love my smile and the natural look of my teeth. Dr. Baysal offers a very natural-looking solution, making sure your crowns are shaped and in a shade that match your natural teeth. Dr. Baysal is a master in what he does. You’re probably reading this review as you are looking to come to Turkey for affordable dental treatment. Dr. Baysal’s prices are on the higher end for Turkey’s standards but his reviews and skills speak for themself and compared to UK prices, very affordable! Thank you Dr. Baysal and team. My experience at Dis 212 was second to none. I am extremely happy with the expertise, compassion and support that this great team provided me. P.S I had 11 implants, 12 extractions, bone grafting and sinus lifting and then 24 zirconium crowns ( individual and implant supported bridges) Most of the work work was done in the first week there in May and I have just returned last week from having my second visit where my permanent crowns/bridges were fitted. Excellent value and the hotels they put me in ( the qinn and Ramada Plaza) were a treat too.

After visiting several Dentists in Antalya we made the decision to use A-Dent for our dental treatments. From the moment we walked into the beautiful, spotless office, the front reception employees, the 3 D imaging X- ray, to our coordinator, “Honor”. Dr. Alkan performed a thorough examination on both my partner and myself as Honor was dictating notes. He explained every aspect and detailed steps of the treatment plan. Honor was very upfront and gave us a complete breakdown of the work needed and the costs. He asked us what our expectations were, which no other dental office did. This review is long overdue. What can I say except Dr Osman and his team are truly amazing. I flew to Antalya in August 2019 to begin my treatment. I was met at the airport by a lovely driver and taken to my hotel. On the Monday, I was collected from the hotel by the driver and taken to the clinic. I was really impressed on my arrival as every inch of the clinic was spotless. My treatment has been first-class since day one as I have been a patient at the clinic for 4 Years! I even visited the clinic to have my permanent teeth fitted once the Covid 19 restrictions were lifted as I’d been wearing my temporary teeth for nearly 18 months. What can I say Dr Osman is an amazing restorative dentist and in my opinion the best in his field. I have an imperfect amazing smile thanks to him my smile is so natural. Dr Osman is amazing and constructed for me a natural white set of teeth which I absolutely love. My treatment consisted of 11 implants a sinus lift and bone grafting. I have also had injections in both my cheeks to relax the muscles in my jaws as on further examination at the clinic it was found that I grind my teeth. The whole experience for me at the Umut Dental clinic has been amazing any concerns or problems I encountered have been resolved swiftly and I can honestly say I would do it all again. The pain I felt during the implantation of my implants was managed well and I would like to once again personally thank everyone at the Umut Clinic for all for their professionalism and expertise. Last summer I came up with the idea of having the treatment and the perfect vacation at the same time. I had my veneers done almost in one week whilst I was enjoying my holidays. Unfortunately, when I came back home I realized that somehow I got unpleasant and painful sensitivity in some of my teeth. That was a moment when I was asking myself whether it had been a good idea to have teeth done from far away from your city. I got in touch with doctor Özgür about my problems. He recommended being patient and waiting because usually, it should pass some time after the treatment before the teeth come back to their normal condition. And I waited and kept communicating with Özgür who supported me all the time. And after a while I felt better indeed. But when I understood that some of my lower teeth are still sensitive and there is no point to wait anymore I decided to be back to "Özgür Yıldırım aesthetic dentistry" to replace these veneers. And so I did. The veneers replacement was covered by warranty and finally, my problem has gone! I would like to note, that even if you have the treatment done in your city, there is no guarantee that the clinic and a doctor will be ready to fix some of your problems by warranty, as it is a very arguable thing. So I appreciate Dr Özgür and his wonderful team for everything! Thank you guys!
