I needed what I thought would be 3 implants, but after a week of consultation, sharing my x-rays and pictures the İstanbul Diş Akademis staff determined that it would be best that I get 2 implants and 1 crown. They determined that my 3rd tooth was in good enough condition to receive a crown and that their interest was to always preserve the patient’s own teeth first. This of course, meant it would be cheaper but that didn’t matter to them; integrity and what was best for the patient came first - not the money. At that point I chose them and ended my search. My first visit involved the implant implementation and then a three-month healing period. I asked multiple times if we could do the entire process in one trip over a week or so but they repeatedly refused despite many other dentists offering “same day - 1 visit implant procedures.” İstanbul Diş Akademis understood that was an option from other offices but advised against it and clearly stated that for the best long-term outcome I needed to let my gums heal and bond to the implants. The healing went well with no issues as did the implant procedure. I had swelling and discomfort for a few days but nothing serious. I returned 13 weeks later and over a 3-day period received the root canal & crown, plus the implant crowns were placed perfectly on the implant screws. My bite is perfect, the crowns merged right into my smile and I actually had to point out to my wife exactly which 3 were the crowns. On both occasions, the staff were professional, polite and held themselves to a very high standard. The facility is world-class; all of their equipment is state-of-the-art and much better than any dentist I’ve used here in the U.S. Both my trips included a driver with airport transportation and it was always a luxury SUV with a professional driver. My second visit included a hotel stay at 216 Ruby Suites, which is a 5-minute walk or 2-minute drive to the office. I was picked up every time for my appointments and never had to make the short walk. The hotel reservation was handled directly by İstanbul Diş Akademis, and all I had to do was tell them my room type, and once I arrived, I had to provide my passport. I never paid the hotel or the luxury airport transportation company - İstanbul Diş Akademis handled everything. I paid the office when service was rendered and that was it. Lastly, the two female dentists and there staff that worked on me were the best of the best and I couldn’t ask for anything more, the gentleman that worked directly with me from the time of my first message in Sept 2025 until the finished product on July 11, 2026 are a example of professionalism and dedication to customer care. They were always there to answer any questions and even helped me with the proper documentation for my insurance company to reimburse me. If your considering getting dental work abroad then İstanbul Diş Akademis should be at the top of your list.

My amazing journey started when I visited the Esnan office in London for my consultation. Totally helpful and experienced; everything happened very quickly through the clinic in Istanbul, the take care of my accommodation and transfers for all my appointments. One of the Best Decisions I've Ever Made About eight months ago, I made one of the biggest decisions of my life. For years I struggled with my teeth. I avoided smiling in pictures, was always aware of my teeth when talking to people, and eating wasn't as enjoyable as it should have been. I finally reached the point where I knew I had to do something. Like most people, I started researching. I'm the type of person who researches everything before making a big decision, and this was no different. I spent months reading reviews, watching videos, comparing clinics, and trying to figure out who I could trust. The cost of full-mouth dental implants in the United States was overwhelming. The quotes I received were simply more than I was willing or able to spend, which led me to start researching treatment in Mexico. They speak good English, communication has always been easy and you receive full care and maintenance rather than being left on your own once the treatment is finished. I have been to Dr. Moreno multiple times over a 12-year period for Implants and other dental procedures. Polite and Professional, with a high standard of care. Maite Moreno DDS MS is a phenomenal dentist, who also cares for her patients making you feel at ease being in the Dentist chair. She is outstanding. A wonderful experience from start to finish, despite the pain that necessitated the visit I would and have recommend her to others. She is a high-quality dentist and a high-quality person. She makes you feel secure in having her take care of your most treasured possessions. I couldn't have asked for a better experience taking into consideration the reason for my visit.

Returned for part 2 of my treatment in July 2026 (previously had gum contouring in May 26). It has now been a month with my new top set of crowns and bridge. The transformation is amazing, and I am so happy. Friends and family comment on how natural they look, which is exactly what I wanted (no bright white Hollywood smile for me, just normal straight teeth). After 10 years of my teeth getting wonkier, I finally have a smile I love and feel so much more confident having photos taken again. During this trip, I had 4 visits; none took longer than an hour, and the price and professionalism are amazing. I would recommend and return in a heartbeat. I first went to Stetic in around 2018. I lived nearby and it was convenient. We had already had a disappointing experience with another Nuevo Progreso dentist, so I looked at online ratings, and then I contacted Manny. My wife needed 5 implants. The dentist recommended 8, but we felt we could only afford 5 at the time. The teeth were removed, the mounts were installed, temporary were placed and we went home to wait 4 months for the mounts to heal. When we returned we found that one mount had not set and needed to be replaced. No problem, no charge, but we had to start over on that tooth. By that time it was apparent that the other three the dentist had recommended replacing were going to have to be done as well, so we had them done as well. Everything went great. My wife was very happy with everything and said the procedures had all been pain-free. As we lived only 50 miles away in Brownsville, we made numerous trips to Stetic. I had not been to the dentist in over 30 years but my wife convinced me to have them look at my teeth too. I needed a deep cleaning and a cavity filled. $80. No pain. I was impressed by how much dental technology has changed over time. Another nice thing about the clinic is that you pay only for services rendered that day, not the entire procedure. Recently my wife showed me 3 more teeth. It was obvious they had to go. We no longer live in Brownsville, but now reside in San Antonio, much farther away. I took my wife to the UTSA Dental School, where she was seen by a graduate student. After X-rays and a first consult, the graduate student said she would need to see 3 other graduate specialists and for $600 we could get an estimate. I went home and called Manny. We got an appointment for the next week, which was 6 weeks ago. The teeth were removed, a temporary bridge was installed and we will be returning in June to have the permanents installed. Another thing I found comforting about the clinic is that in the approximately 6 years we have been going, there has been no staff turnover. All the same, dentists and office staff are still there. Everyone speaks English. If you fly in, Manny will pick you up and bring you back, take care of everything. In all the visits we made, I met many patients from all over. I don’t remember meeting any who said they were new, most had been coming for years, which to me was a recommendation in itself. Also, if you have to wait while they are working on your relative or friend, Manny is a great conversationalist and is highly informed on a wide range of subjects. Although our relationship began as a professional one, after this long I consider him a friend. My wife is a, how should I put it? Picky I guess would be the polite way, and she has been totally satisfied with all the work we have done. In retrospect, I wish she had gone the whole mouth, but we are getting there a few at a time. 11 and counting. We highly recommend Stetic and feel lucky to have found them, after previous disappointments.

What can I say? I am delighted with the treatment I had at the clinic. From the beginning, the communication was first class any questions I needed answering were answered very promptly. The clinic itself is spotless, lovely, and clean, with a relaxing atmosphere. The treatment itself was very professional, with no pain at all. The dentist takes time to make sure your treatment is done to perfection. Aftercare for my night retainers was made by the next day and delivered to my hotel as we were going home.
