The most common treatment we apply to a patient who has lost a tooth is a dental implant. Implant: It is the process of treating the gap area with a zirconium tooth on top of a titanium screw placed in the bone.

1- Material brand and quality: Zirconium is a natural mineral that is made to be applied to teeth at high pressure and temperature with a complex technology. It is produced in many countries. Germany, Brazil, Pakistan, Turkey and China are the countries that produce the most zirconium tablets. Tablets produced with German technology have high durability. 2- Measurement: Dentistry is the branch of medicine that needs technology the most. There may be tooth-crown compatibility problems in measurements taken with old methods. External-Internal sinus lifting operation is an implant preparation operation.

This procedure must be performed if the maxillary sinus cavities in the upper jaw are very large and there is not enough bone to be impaled.

The steps of the sinus lifting procedure are as follows.

- With 3D dental tomography, the structure and dimensions of your jawbone are determined. This is something we definitely do for planning before starting the process.

- The procedure begins with a simple local anesthesia and takes approximately 30 minutes. The sinus is opened and the sinus membrane is lifted up with a very sensitive device called piezzo surgery.

- FDI Approved human bone Graft is added into the sinus and implants are placed.

It is necessary to wait about 6 months after the procedure. Within 6 months, the implants will have healed within the solid healthy bone and will be ready for tooth construction.

Things you should pay attention to if you are going to have an external sinus lifting procedure:

1- Sinus border and bone density must be determined by 3D Tomography.

2- Piezo surgery device must be used. Otherwise, the process will not be performed with sufficient precision.

3- FDI approved and human source bone graft must be used, otherwise proper results cannot be obtained.
