I had protruding upper teeth and triangular gaps between my lower teeth, and felt quite depressed. I reached out to a number of clinics, and they all suggested that crowns would be the best solution after seeing pictures of my teeth. The prices quoted in the UK were way beyond what I could afford. So, I hesitantly focused on clinics in Turkey. I had so many reservations as I had heard of a few nightmare stories. Nonetheless, I contacted quite a few clinics in Turkey to discuss the treatment and prices, bearing in mind I had a budget that I couldn't exceed. I checked so many reviews on Trustpilot, and eventually came across Istanbul Dis Akademisi, and was pleasantly surprised and impressed by their reviews.

I spoke with the manager Umut at great length via WhatSapp asking him so many questions, and he patiently answered them all. He wasn't pushy like some of the other clinics that I had spoken to, he was very reassuring.

Eventually, after a lengthy back-and-forth chat over a few days, my treatment was booked for 5 days. I arrived on Monday, 16th February 2026 and everything he promised was delivered. Upon arrival at Istanbul Sabiha Airport, my daughter and I were picked up in an executive-style vehicle and taken to a really lovely 5-star hotel. Our room had two large double beds, a washing machine, a double-ring electric stove, a microwave, a fridge, bottles of water, a kettle, plus tea and coffee. It also came with breakfast, access to the gym, swimming pool and a sauna.

My treatment started the following day. Umut arranged to pick us up at 9:50, and was punctual that morning and punctual with all the pick-up times throughout my treatment. I have to say how clean the clinic was, as has been pointed out by everyone in their reviews. Their hygiene standard is very impressive and provided me with the additional reassurance I needed. Umut's sister-in-law, Janjan, who was my personal dentist, did an amazing job. Her concentration to detail and precision in ensuring everything was done correctly set my mind at ease. As a family business, the dynamic between everyone is well coordinated and seamless. The final crowns were installed on Thursday, and I can't tell you how happy I felt to see my new, beautiful smile.

I want to thank the whole team for giving me the ability to smile confidently for the first time in my life, and wholeheartedly recommend Istanbul Dis Akademisi if you're thinking about transforming your smile. Their price is reasonable, and unlike some clinics, they will refuse to do treatment if they don't think you really need it, or they envisage a problem resulting from the treatment, as in the case of my daughter, who wanted veneers. Her teeth had an overbite and needed a little straightening, so they refused to treat her at this time, advising her to correct the issues discussedand then return at a later date to have the veneers fitted. I respected their professionalism, losing potential money by putting their good name above profit.

Just finished my treatment with Dis Akademisi. And I can honestly say they are an absolutely brilliant outfit from collection from the airport to the hotel/ hotel to the clinic, transfers. Punctuation is 2nd to none Allways on time. Following a message on WhatsApp. And the dentistry itself was absolutely amazing i had 16 Z crowns / 3 x inplants/ and 2 wisdom teeth and 2 normal teeth pulled, and didn't feel a thing. If you are thinking of going to Turkey for dental treatment, this place is where you should be heading. If anyone has any questions i will be happy to talk to you because I know how stressful trying to pick a dentist.
