Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. The initial contact & quote were informative & Asli answered all my questions in a prompt manner. I had a video consultation with the doctor, which I wasn’t expecting to happen. When I arrived in Istanbul, I was picked up by taxi from the airport & taken straight to Erdem Hospital, where I had blood tests, a chest X-ray & ECG as soon as I arrived, & it was all done within about 20 minutes. On the morning of the operation, I had ‘before’ pictures taken before meeting the Dr who explained what would happen. I had a full tummy tuck, 360 body lift, breast uplift & reduction & an arm lift. My surgery was extensive & I was under anaesthetic for about 9 hours. It was a difficult surgery because of such extensive prior weight loss, leaving excessive loose skin. I was quite fortunate & didn’t have much pain afterwards. I had IV antibiotics & painkillers for a few days whilst I was still in the hospital. My wounds were reviewed every day & dressings were changed daily also. The ward nurses were fantastic also. They were very responsive & came when I pushed the call button. They were also timely with any planned medication. I moved to the hotel 3 days after surgery & was given painkillers & antibiotics to take out, along with some topical medicine for wounds when I went home, some oil & some laxative medicine. A nurse came to visit at the hotel to change dressings; contact was maintained throughout by Asli to check how I was. I received a full report of the surgery that took place, along with all of my test results. It was all in Turkish (as expected) & I used Google Translate. I had follow-up care from the hospital & went back for a final check-up with the Dr & had a planned lymphatic drainage massage. In all, the experience was extremely positive & I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Dr or the team. In fact, I’ve already booked to come back for further procedures.

I had a tummy tuck, breast lift and augmentation and arm lift at the clinic. Everyone was very friendly and professional and so far everything is healing well. I already walked 13,000 steps one week after the surgery. You get lots of advice on how to take care of your scars so they will not get infected and stay to a minimum. So I’m looking forward to show off my new body in a party dress and finally get the reward for my weight loss. Huge thanks to the entire team.

NewMe consistently came up with excellent reviews, so I reached out for more information. Eren, the coordinator, responded quickly with clear details and even offered a video consultation. As I was already planning a holiday in Antalya in April, I asked if I could meet in person instead. During my visit in April, I attended a face-to-face consultation with Dr. Houtan. The hospital was small but very clean, and I was welcomed by Eren, who took me directly to the consultation room. Dr. Houtan was fantastic—he talked me through the procedures required to achieve my goals and explained that, due to the extent of the work needed, it would be safer and more effective to split everything into two separate surgeries. A few hours later, Eren sent me a detailed quote with everything included. What really stood out was that I never felt pressured to book, and there were no time-sensitive sales tactics, which immediately built trust. I decided to go ahead and booked my 360 tummy tuck with FDL for September 2025. Communication from NewMe leading up to the surgery was excellent. First Surgery – September 2025 When the time came, my husband and I were picked up and taken to the hospital. There was a small issue with bed availability, and I was moved to a different ward than the one usually used for planned procedures. As an NHS nurse, I found parts of the immediate post op period challenging, especially waking up in significant pain. However, Nurse Cansu was absolutely exceptional. Even when I felt I was being dramatic, she checked on me constantly and made sure I had everything I needed. I stayed at Club Hotel Sera, which was beautiful, and Cansu visited me every day for my checks. Once I returned home, both Cansu and Eren remained available on the phone for weeks, offering guidance and reassurance whenever I needed it. Second Surgery – January 2026 I returned on January 19th, 2026, for my second stage surgery—an uplift with Dr. Houtan. This experience was even smoother. I was admitted to the usual ward on the 4th floor, where all the nurses were fantastic. A special mention goes to Elena, who was particularly caring and attentive. I am now 10 days post op, already back at work, and feeling incredibly pleased with my results and recovery. Final Thoughts I wanted to wait until I had completed both surgeries before writing an honest, balanced review—and I can genuinely say that NewMe Clinic, Dr. Houtan, Coordinator Eren Ormeci, Nurse Cansu, and all the ward staff have been amazing from start to finish. I came to Izmir for a tummy tuck and 360 lipo with Dr. Mehmet, and I am very happy with my result. My tummy is flat now, and my waist looks much better than before.
