I had surgery on July 22 and had two consultations with Dr. Colin Tham beforehand. He is very patient, and his team is friendly and responsive, always answering my questions promptly via WhatsApp even before I decided to go forward with the surgery. I had been consulting various doctors across Pune. My consultation with Dr. Krishna was the best experience of all as he clearly listed all my available options (including the ones that didn't concern him). I went ahead with my procedure and the staff/nurses are all very lovely and helpful. During the appointment, it was determined no treatment was necessary because of my particular issue I need to wait until a future date to start treatment. The staff were very helpful but compared with clinics in other countries such as Thailand, Japan and Korea there is a particular difficulty that Chinese people have with English. I would say that in 99% of clinics that claim to have English-speaking staff, their English level is far below the standard I've experienced in other countries in Asia, and that appears to be the norm. This difference can severely hamper efforts to communicate effectively and negatively impact the service quality.
