Excellent care and staff, providing superb aftercare, with an outstanding team of nurses. All the staff and medical team were friendly, helpful, but professional. I underwent a scrotal skin graft vaginaplasty with full orchiectomy. Now this is a complex and lengthy operation, but all pre-op checks were thorough, including chest x-ray, ECG (EKG), and an interview with a psychiatrist/Phycologist and all included in the package. The operation seemed to go well, and they spent 4 days in the clinic recovering, and were looked after by nurse team. Then, well for me, when all the dressings came off, and packing was removed, I had suffered greater than usual swelling, above normal, but was reassured by the Surgeon, everything would be OK. Which it was :) I had to wait for 2 weeks of recovery from the initial operation and general anaesthetic, but was then taken back under for corrective surgery, to correct my adverse swelling. This was all included and was to provide the results I had expected, and the Dr had reassured me that they would be. This surgery was basically a Libia-Plasty to ensure a better natural-looking result, and to reduce the swelling that was in excess. The dressings came off the same day, but were redressed for the night, to avoid any chances of infection. The next day, everything was removed, and the results were much more pleasing and as expected. I was certified fit to fly, as my flights home were just the next day. On return to the UK. I got myself re-checked by the medical team, just for my own peace of mind, and to ensure I was following correct care procedures. I was comforted to find out everything did look good, no signs of possible infections, and the care plan given was robust, and I had nothing to worry about. So all in all, a great service provided, with a good outcome, great after care, and was given great advice to follow on returning home, to keep healthy and recover well. I would recommend the BPS clinic to friends and others who are looking for advice. As a transgender woman, I feel that many of us grow up disconnected from our own bodies. I have been through a lot have seen some of the most influential doctors in the United States but I'm sorry to say you cannot compare doctor to the doctors in the United States that I've seen there's just something quite different about the way he does his surgeries the way he looks at you the way he sees things that other doctors haven't even pointed out that have caused problems that I was wondering what it was and didn't know why. For example, my lower lip was hanging due to a slipped muscle. very intricate surgeries that he did for me that all the doctors I had had consultations with and even surgeries with never even pointed that out to me. .I have also seen his before's and afters and met other patients and they were so happy with his work and I saw his work and they looked amazing. I decided to search Whatclinic while on holiday. Dr Harvard appealed most, after research. I was delighted to be given a consultation the next day and surgery the following day. The staff were great and Dr Harvard is a wonderful man whom I have complete faith in. He was calm, thoughtful, and precise. Did an excellent job Highly recommend. My experience was fantastic.
