Dr. Jayashree is a Lady Gynaecologist
( Fellow of Royal College UK) - liposuction surgeon who has been practicing this field for over 11 years. She underwent training at Dr Jeffrey Klein's surgicentre (who is the father of modern tumescent liposuction), San Juan, USA in tumescent liposuction and with Dr MarcoPelosi, one of the earliest proponents of cosmetic gynaecology. She has presented several papers in this area in many conferences in India and abroad (world congress of liposuction in Washing ton 2010, Dubai 2006, world congress of dermatology Argentina, International congress of dermatology Prague 2009, European academy of dermatology Gothenberg 2010, DASIL Malta, SOuth Africa, Vietnam, Dubai 2016, Iran congress 2016 etc). She has written chapters in four books on liposuction and laser lipolysis .
Her specialty is performing liposuction under purely tumescent anesthesia alone without general anesthesia or even intravenous sedation. This means the patient is fully conscious and aware and can even stand up during the procedure to see results, which improves outcomes. This also improves safety as there is no
chance of intraabdominal perforation since the muscles are not anesthetized. She also has expertise in powered liposuction and has added laser lipolysis to her repertoire- these techniques have helped to obtain better results , through aspiration of larger amounts of fact and enhanced safety. She also uses laser and radiofrequency devices for skin tightening post liposuction
Dr.Jayashree performs liposuctions over all areas of the body, especially male gynaecomastia and female breast reduction, and has performed over 1200 liposuctions since 2004. Dr.Jayashree has also been performing fat transfers for various deformities over the body including the face and breast.
Dr.Jayashree is also an expert in feminine rejuvenation and cosmetic gynaecology including vaginal tightening, labioplasty, PCOD management and its associated skin problems. She offers feminine rejuvenation for
problems such as; dryness of vagina, irritation, problems in urination such as urgency and leakage ( stress incontinence), prolapse of uterus, loss of sexual satisfaction,, painful intercourse etc. Hitherto, the treatment for these problems was either unsatisfactory or by surgery, which was associated with risk, expense and long down time.
