What is a Dental Implant?

Dental implants are artificial screws made of titanium or zirconium oxide that connect the jawbone and a dental restoration like a crown or denture. I had many implants by Tidu about 11 years ago and can honestly say I have never had a single problem. Although it was expensive but worth every pound spent. I had seen the advertising of the clinic for a while and telephoned after giving it a lot of thought and spoke to a really friendly lady. I must also say Sarah the dental hygienists at the clinic is always very friendly and calming. My first visit I was rather nervous but was soon put at ease by Tidu and of course the friendly and polite staff.

My appointment was for a consultation with a view to having dental implant work done. My dentist had recommended two local dental practices and this was the second one I visited. Smile seemed to me to be doing the work over a longer timescale which I felt was better in order to allow sufficient time for healing which would in turn give a more viable result.

Managed to save a tooth that most would have said unrepairable with Composit filling. All the staff was so kind and helpful. Wish I had found this practice/ Rathnaa sooner x
