Dental Implants Dyfed

I was a patient at this clinic until I moved away recently. I had a considerable amount of dental work including 4 implants and several fillings. The clinic has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The treatments were consistently excellent.

Well here I am, 11 months into my treatment consisting of almost a full mouth of dental implants. I did months of research before I chose this practice, I knew it was a huge undertaking and commitment and I was extremely nervous. I've had easy appointments and I've had more difficult appointments but throughout my treatment I never felt any discomfort or pain. And most importantly I trusted my Doctors. The chairs that I have my treatment in are out of this world! So comfy I've even nodded off during treatment and had to be poked awake! I'm not saying it's fun but it's as good as it can get at this surgery. I will be grateful forever for the wonderful care and expertise I receive here. I'm almost finished treatment, as I write this today, my implants are about to have the first fitting tomorrow and I'm so excited. I've carefully chosen from the options available, with expert advice and after a whole year I will finally have a perfect smile again. I'm 66 now and a smoker so if I can do it, so can you! It's the best decision of my life. I'd like to say a special thank you to Doctor Aziz, who has looked after me so well, he can make you laugh through the whole process, which is a gift in itself. The prices were completely fair when the standard of treatment is considered. I've never had such professional people looking after my smile before! I had implants fitted about 12 years ago when I was living in London, but unfortunately, they failed due to gum disease. I was faced with having dentures in my lower jaw forever. However, I was offered an alternative by Parkway. My old implants were removed and after 6 weeks to allow the gums to heal, wearing a temporary denture, new implants were placed avoiding weak points. The temporary denture has been fixed to my implants and once the healing has taken place again I will have a permanent bridge fitted. The care I have received has been first-class. Every step has been explained by my excellent dentists, Cianna and Jo, and I feel comfortable and confident with them. It is not cheap, £20,000, but I do believe that the treatment is worth it because the care has been outstanding, the knowledge and skill of the team is first-rate. Every stage has been explained clearly to me with detailed instructions for aftercare. The fact that it takes a longer time is a positive because I am being checked regularly. Every member of the Parkway team is professional and caring, from the receptionists and nurses to the dentists. I really feel I have been looked after well during this time - it is not easy treatment but the end result will be worth it.
