What is a Dental Implant?

Dental implants are artificial screws made of titanium or zirconium oxide that connect the jawbone and a dental restoration like a crown or denture. They are also called ‘endosseous’ implants or fixtures. They are an artificial tooth root. Once implanted, the implant integrates with the surrounding bone like part of the body. Professional dental establishment. Followed all the covid rules to limit spread. All checks made at the steps of the clinic prior to entry. I went to have my teeth cleaned by the hygienist. I am sorry I forgot her name. I am a myeloma patient, so she went through my medical history before she started. I have a very sensitive mouth but she put me at ease. I did not feel a thing. She explained what she was doing as she went along. Very clear and precise. Done a great job on removing strong stains on my teeth and cleaned them thoroughly. Very happy. Highly recommended.
