I don't normally leave reviews but I'm leaving this one as I found Dr Cem after reading these reviews. The review in question said "Stop looking any further, you've found your man" and I would like to second this opinion. Here is my story. I needed a tooth removal and an implant placed to support a crown consisting of 2 teeth. I went to my UK implant dentist (who had placed 2 previous implants) and the quote was £4300, using porcelain crowns. I would have to wait 3 months for the 1st appointment and the whole procedure would take approx 10 months (3 months waiting for 1st appointment of tooth removal, 3 months to let the jaw bone heal and then place the implant, 4 months to let the implant bond to the jaw bone) so I decided to look abroad for a cheaper, faster service and I found Dr Cem. I sent him a WhatsApp message with photos explaining what needed doing and received great communication, answering all my questions. I explained to him that I didn't want bright white 'Turkey teeth' but natural-looking crowns and he reassured me. I asked how quickly he could fit me in and he could see me the following week. There would be no charge for the tooth removal (£350 in my UK quote) and he would be able to place the implant immediately after removing the tooth. I initially asked for a price for a Straumann implant (Rolls Royce of implants, so I thought) but after doing some homework, I settled for a Megagen implant (Skoda of implants, very good and successful but cheaper, 700 euros including bone graft ) and approximately 2 weeks after first contacting Dr Cem found myself in Istanbul with my daughter to have the implant fitted. Like many other reviews here I had very little pain, probably 0.5 on a scale of 0-10, and went for a meal with my daughter that evening. I came home, kept my mouth scrupulously clean and it healed very quickly, although I should add that the dissolvable stitches didn't fully dissolve so I had to ask my UK dentist to remove them. This was a little bit embarrassing but she did do it and didn't charge for it, probably because it took her less than 5 minutes! Dentists are advertising online who provide this service if your dentist refuses to do it for you. Last week, 3.5 months after having the implant placed, I returned to Istanbul with my wife for a week's dental holiday. On Monday we visited Dr Cem for the impressions and he suggested that rather than just having the 2 crowns, why didn't I also replace the other 4 front crowns because what was the point in having 2 amazing teeth alongside 4, 20-year-old goofy, poorly fitted porcelain crowns and I decided that he was right and at £340 each for zirconium crowns, which are between £600-£800 each in the UK, why not? On Wednesday we had a quick check of the 6 crowns to check they fitted OK etc and finally on Friday he fitted my new teeth and I am delighted with them. They look very natural, fit up to the gums, aren't goofy, like my old ones, aren't metallic like my old porcelain crowns and being zirconium, are practically indestructible. If you do have the option, I would recommend getting the work done over winter as flights and hotels are much cheaper and Istanbul is quieter (albeit, still heaving in the tourist areas!!). In summary, Dr Cem is a fantastic, highly qualified, highly experienced implantologist and you don't need to look any further.

I sent an enquiry and I got a reply in the next day. All my questions were answered before I decide to go ahead. I booked an appintment after two weeks. As I was told, the clinic driver collected me from the airport and dropped me at the hotel, booked by the clinic for me. Next day I had my first appointment. Gunay was very helpful and was with me all the time when I was in the clinic, facilitating communication between me and the dentists. On the first day I had an implant done. The surgeon was very nice and the implant was done in less than half an hour. Then the orthodontic took over and fixed my other teeth. She was very gentle and I had all the work done without any pain. I was very happy that they told me exactly what I needed, offered advice and didn't try to convince me to have extra, unnecessary work done. The price was exactly as per quote give to me in advance. In 3-4 months I have to go back for my crowns to be done. I'm very happy with this clinic and their services and I already recommend them to my friends.

I had an amazing experience at Mevsim Dental. I came from the U.S. with doubt, not knowing whether or not my experience would be good in a foreign country. And I can honestly say that I’ve never felt safer and put at ease with their professionalism and bedside manner. I went to Turkey to get my implants done with Dr. Volkan, and I was surprised because it was a very quick procedure—only about 25 minutes for two implants. After the procedure was done, I was surprised again as there was hardly any pain. I started eating food just two hours later, which I wasn’t expecting, to be honest. I would strongly recommend treatment with Dr Volkan at Ihlamur Dent, and I am going back again in February to have my crowns done.

Absolutely love my new smile. When I started my enquiries back in the UK this clinic stood out from the rest, they weren’t pushy for a commitment, they were as thorough as possible with the quote from pictures, always available with my queries and most of all calmed my anxieties. From the minute I landed in Turkey the service I received was excellent, all transfers, beautiful hotel, regular contact, amazingly hygienic clinic with friendly staff with amazing skills who gave me my confidence back to smile. If you’re thinking of going to Turkey for dental work I fully recommend it here, very reasonably priced for the quality, and there are cheaper clinics however I don’t believe the service and quality could match Umut. I’ve now had my beautiful smile since August and the only regret I have is that I didn’t have the work done years ago

I recently booked to have composite veneers done, and I had very very specific request regarding certain teeth ( a particular shaped I liked ) and I couldn't be happier with my experience. Her kind, caring, and professional attitude truly stood out. She had the warmest smile and a calming presence that put me at ease throughout the treatment. The very best clinic in Istanbul as far as I am concerned. And I did a lot of research on the subject. Other clinics gave incomplete information and tried to let me pay double or more. In this club, you are in safe hands. Tried to avoid the dental tourist traps. I went for 2 implants. Proper information, good quality of used materials. And very kind people are working here.

I had badly needed an implant for several years and then, every time I flossed my teeth, pieces of my molars started to break off. The final straw was when one of the four crowns in the front of my mouth finally broke. It had lasted 40 years so had done a good job but this made me decide that I really needed to sort out my teeth. Unable to afford the treatment needed in the UK, a colleague of my partner's highly recommended SDC so, with some trepidation, I chose to have my treatment in Turkey. I need not have worried! From my first contact with Merve, I was extremely impressed by her professional, speedy responses to my questions and excellent English. Nothing was too much trouble for them and all of my questions were carefully answered and each detail of my treatment plan explained. Clients are met at the airport and collected for appointments from their hotels for each treatment needed by their friendly driver. The clinic is immaculate with all of the very latest technology. All of the staff are expert at putting you at ease when you are feeling nervous. Nazife, my dentist, always explained clearly what she was going to work on during each appointment and gave me an idea of how long this would take. Pain-killing injections were very effective and I was able to listen to a couple of audiobooks on my headphones to while away the time! Everything was wonderful, my hotel stay and breakfast was included in the price and it was all booked for me once I had bought the plane tickets, I wanted crowns but got veneers instead as that would preserve my natural teeth better as I am only 22. I had transfer from the airport sorted for me by the clinic and was picked up from the hotel to go to every appointment and taken back afterwards. The staff are super nice and friendly and they genuinely cared about my experience and answered any questions i had. I couldn't be happier!!
