Terrific team, terrific results, no-nonsense professionals. Dr.Cem Baysal prepared the tooth and a few days later the awesome new crown was properly placed. I found my dentist 7,000 km from home (Cape Cod, MA). Turkeye and its friendly beautiful people are a wonderful treat.

TL;DR: Highly recommended. Professional, conscientious, efficient, friendly, super organised, great attention to detail and personalised service/treatment. After a number of years of pain and poor service from UK dentists, not having an NHS dentist (who does?) and needing multiple treatments (potentially 10’s of thousands of £’s), I felt backed into a corner. I started looking for alternatives and came across foreign (to me) dental treatment. Türkiye looked like a good option and I researched a number of clinics. Long story short, I narrowed to three and sent them all a message. Focus Dental replied quickly and with a reply that showed they had taken the time to read my requirements. They suggested a treatment and cost to match. Good start. The excellent communication continued, helping me book my appointment with them (at a convenient time and date), finding a hotel and arranging airport transfers and local taxis to the clinic. Naturally, I had some concerns. I hadn’t been to Türkiye before let alone had any medical treatment outside of the UK. I won’t go into them here as yours will likely be the same, but once at the clinic, I realised that these fears and concerns had no foundation. The team speak excellent English (and a number of other language's) and upon arrival, after a warm welcome, was guided through the process and my available options. First stage was a full mouth x-ray and consultation with a dental specialist. I was expecting needing implants and crowns, but after inspecting my teeth, jaw and discussing what I wanted from the treatment, I was advised that crowns would be the better option. The dentists here really wanted to deliver what I required, but with consideration for what was best for my future dental health. Also, the treatment they suggested was less expensive than originally quoted - giving me a lot of confidence in their professionalism and ethical principles (rather than just wanting to make a quick buck). My treatment plan was documented and presented to me for review and agreement. I felt like I was given many points to discuss my treatment and make changes if I needed to. I didn’t, so I agreed, paid the fee and we got straight into the treatment. I won’t go into the full detail of my treatment as yours will be different and it’s not relevant, but I would like to make the following points; I had 22 crowns fitted and a number of root canal treatments (yes really!), this was an experience. Not a bad one, it’s just a lot of work in a short time. I was made to feel comfortable and there were plenty of breaks. The specialist worked very hard, but with professional dexterity and with care for my welfare. There were a few problems along the way (my mouth, not their fault), but they handled them with ease and made sure the end result was as discussed and expected. This professional and conscientious work ethic extended to the point where they had fit most of my new crowns, but they weren’t happy with the position of some of them (I’m not sure I would have noticed), so rather than just sending me on my way to deal with the problem later, they had new crowns created (at their expense) to better fit my particular mouth geography. At one point the specialist said “I’m sorry, I know it seems like we are obsessing over minor details, but in the long term they won’t be”. I felt very re-assured that I was getting the best attention and service I could get. I can’t thank the whole team at Focus Dental Clinic enough for their excellent service and amazing results. I’m very pleased with how everything went and wholeheartedly recommend this clinic. Nothing to do with the clinic, but these things helped me personally (relevant if you’re having a lot of work). Always have a good breakfast - it could be a long day and/or you may not be able to eat lunch (It’s hard to eat when you can’t feel your lips - I tried, not pretty!). Get in plenty of soft foods (you can eat in private). Make sure you have a good supply of ibuprofen. ;-) P.S. You may see this review in a number of different places, I’m not a bot! I'm so glad I came to the Pearl Clinic in Antalya, Lara. Prices are so much cheaper than other countries. Hotel and all travel to the dentist from the airport, etc., are included. I got a great hotel next to the beach. I've had 29 zirconia crowns, a bridge, and 1 root canal, all for £4100. All work has been completed in 6 days. They just ask for an extra day to make sure you're happy. I'm so glad I chose this clinic; it's very legit, and they didn't pester me when I'm coming like the rest of the dentists. They work to your schedule. I did a lot of research; the Pearl Clinic was my favorite by far. Good communication, the best price. I can actually smile for the first time in my life and be confident.

I wanted to do all on 4 in the upper and lower jaw because I had very bad teeth. Did a lot of research about many clinics in different counties but I came back to Dr. Volkan because of the overall and recent reviews I read about his clinic. Dr. Volkan was very helpful, easy to communicate with, speaks very good English, he keeps himself updated with education for the latest techniques, takes his time to answer via WhatsApp and e-mail and explains everything very well! The clinic is not too big, very clean and neat, working staff are friendly and nice. Dr. Volkan and his staff are very educated and professional in his/their work! I spoke to him many times before I made the final decision to go to his clinic since there are so many clinics in Turkey and Istanbul that it is hard for someone to decide where to go. He made me feel very comfortable from the beginning so not hard for me to make a final decision! I had/wanted to get my upper and lower jaw teeth extracted for what I wanted, all on 4 in both jaws. I chose the Astra dental implants because they are a well-known European A brand implants so good quality, also received the original Astra certificates/numbers. I don't like my own teeth on the lower jaw because they are discoloured and ugly which would not match of course with my new all on 4 teeth in the upper jaw when it is finished. Dr. Volkan professionally advised me not to extract my lower jaw teeth since they were still good, stable and not necessary to extract. So in the end I am very happy that I listened to his professional advice so I will keep my own teeth which would be much better in the end according to his advise, most dentists advise this anyway. Now he will be able to place new Zirconium crowns on my own teeth in the lower jaw so everything will match and look all the same and new when all the work is done in the end. During the treatment I did not feel any pain, treatment went very well, smooth and good according the end result. No infections, I had some after pain which is/was normal and durable, swelling which lasted for a few days, all this is normal of course after such a treatment/operation. Aftercare was very good, he invited me a few times to come over to the clinic to check up on everything to see that the healing went ok. The temporary dental fake teeth were measured and prepared during the week I stayed in Istanbul. The fake dental teeth were very nice and good, fitted very well so all that was in order as well. Also the pick-up/ drop off service at the airport and hotel was organised very well and everything on time so also no worries about that! In the end, I am very happy already so far for/with the work that has been done, I paid a good, fair and reasonable price. He was also very understanding in helping people in a good manner to make a good deal for me since he knows all to well that not everybody can afford such high prices that we normally pay in our own countries where dental care is very expensive, at least here in Holland it is ! The same dental work would have cost me something like 12.000.- to 15.000.- Euro in Holland for Astra implants and Zirconium teeth since this is the better and best quality so very expensive. He is not only after the money like most bigger clinics do but wants to deliver good and nice work for the customer for a fair price I reckon and that has to be said here in my review as well I think! I CAN ONLY AND HIGLHY RECCOMEND Dr. VOLKAN TO ANYBODY WHO NEEDS A GOOD DENTIST IN ISTANBUL !! I have to go back in a couple of months in September after healing and when the implants have grown into the bone to get all the final work done and then I have a new smile again 😊 Will update new review after that again to tell about the end result.

I had badly needed an implant for several years and then, every time I flossed my teeth, pieces of my molars started to break off. The final straw was when one of the four crowns in the front of my mouth finally broke. It had lasted 40 years so had done a good job but this made me decide that I really needed to sort out my teeth. Unable to afford the treatment needed in the UK, a colleague of my partner's highly recommended SDC so, with some trepidation, I chose to have my treatment in Turkey. I need not have worried! From my first contact with Merve, I was extremely impressed by her professional, speedy responses to my questions and excellent English. Nothing was too much trouble for them and all of my questions were carefully answered and each detail of my treatment plan explained. Clients are met at the airport and collected for appointments from their hotels for each treatment needed by their friendly driver. The clinic is immaculate with all of the very latest technology. All of the staff are expert at putting you at ease when you are feeling nervous. Nazife, my dentist, always explained clearly what she was going to work on during each appointment and gave me an idea of how long this would take. Pain-killing injections were very effective and I was able to listen to a couple of audiobooks on my headphones to while away the time! Nazife's attention to detail was fantastic and she works incredibly patiently and carefully. I am overjoyed with the end results and very grateful for everyone's hard work and considerate care.

This clinic has been amazing! It's a minefield to choose a good, reliable, honest and trustworthy place when looking for dental treatment in Turkey, but I used Smilepod and can not fault them. From start to finish, they've been helpful and professional, and after having all on 5, top and bottom, I couldn't be more pleased. The amount of confidence I've been given is indescribable. People stop me to compliment my smile all the time! Was I scared? Terrified.....was it as bad as I imagined? No!..... Would I do it all again? YES 😁

Just got back to the UK after having 12 implants. We were treated to outstanding service, the staff are very helpful and explained all the treatment and made sure we understood everything. Great communication letting us know when we would be picked up to go to the clinic. The clinic I would give a 10 out of 10 with high-end technology and equipment. All the doctors were so professional. I'm looking forward to going back in 6 months to get my final treatment. I will definitely recommend Panoramik to everyone!

I feel very fortunate to have found Dent Adavista Clinic. Initially, I went for an appointment to see if I could save my tooth, which had an infection and root resorption. After a thorough examination with an X-ray and 3D scan, my dentist informed me that the tooth was beyond saving and recommended an implant. Since I had already considered implants for the future, I felt reassured after meeting the team, especially Dentist Ozge, and seeing how amazing and caring they were with other patients.
