Well, where do I start? I am at the age now, where the wrinkles are starting to creep in. I have never had any injectables like Treatment for Wrinkles or fillers, for the main reason being that I have always had a lot of sensitivities/allergies and the fear of having a reaction was something I thought was not worth risking, no matter how much I would like to be wrinkle-free. When I met Dr Raj and discussed the above, his refusal to even consider any filler gave me so much confidence as that would of just been the easy option. So Dr Raj suggested the PRF and explained how it works, with no downtime and no risk - it was a no brainer. The results are absolutely amazing, he is a magician! I am so delighted with my new boobs! I’m over 8 weeks post breast reduction op and the healing process couldn’t have gone any better so far. I liked Chris as soon as I met him. He was friendly, approachable and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. Chris also responded so quickly to any questions I had via email! I decided at the age of 50 to have breast implants and was recommended Mr Awf Quaba who specialised in this field. My operation took place at the Murrayfield Spire and I was well looked after before and after my operation. Unfortunately, 4 years on I was getting breast implant illness symptoms, I was in a lot of discomfort in the breast area, had hair thinning, anxiety, ocular migraine headaches and development an autoimmune disease which had to be treated by Prednisolone. After reading about BII I decided in 2021 to see Mr Quaba once again to get his advice. I must say he was very understanding and told me the pros and cons of getting a full capsulectomy which removes the implants and capsules surrounding them. In October 2021 I was booked into the Shawfair Spire Hospital and Mr Quaba performed by full capsulectomy which was very successful. 6 months down the line I am feeling so much better with no breast pain, hair has got thicker and no ocular migraine headaches. I am also down to 2mg of steriods and my neck and shoulder pain has almost gone with my scars hardly visible. I can honestly say Mr Quaba has looked after me so well and I would highly recommend anyone who is considering explant surgery to seek advice from such a professional. These are not cheap procedures but all in all it was well worth the money to get my health back!
