I had two treatments carried out at the MACS clinic. My focus was on labiaplasty following a medical surgery I had when I was younger. I had been researching labiaplasty on and off for years. I looked into what credentials mattered, whether it was better to go abroad and the different methods. Whilst researching qualified surgeons a few months ago on a comparison site, I came across Dr. Vadodaria, and his credentials fit the governing criteria. The clinic was also accredited. Their website had a lot of information about treatments, including videos and photos, which made me feel more comfortable with their techniques, and I was happy with their work. Whilst I was looking, I also considered brachioplasty for my arms. Everything on there was super transparent, so I put in my details for a phone call.
Adhitya had called me shortly after with initial questions and asked if I would like to come in for a free consultation. Honestly, whenever I've got to this point beforehand, I usually back away as it is a little scary considering cosmetic surgery, but he was very calming on the phone, made it feel seamless, and everything was on my terms.
My first interaction Dr. Vadodaria was that he greeted me like you are already acquainted, which was again comforting. My first consultation was understanding the true reasons for treatment, making sure I am informed about the procedure, effects and potential outcomes. He also advised me on what was best in my case. In which he urged me to consider liposuction instead of brachioplasty (and I am so glad I did). He was completely on my side; he wanted me to go and consider all the information before making a decision, and he wanted to ensure my family members had no questions and I was completely comfortable before proceeding. I could have as many consultations as I wanted, and I had a direct contact line to him!
I went ahead with both surgeries, which meant various visits to the clinic for treatment and check-ups. During my visits, I was mainly greeted by Fatimah, who felt like a friend I had known for a long time. She was always smiling, considerate and patient despite being such a busy bee. Both Adhitya and Fatimah were super flexible and attentive and never complained about how much trouble I would give them bout appointment dates.
The surgeries themselves were so streamlined. It is important to know that things can get delayed, so things may not always be on time, but the staff are really good at communicating with you as to when to leave or how much longer you’ll be waiting. I got all the information beforehand via the contract and procedure info. The staff assisting with the surgeries were amazing. They are all a perfect balance between professional and friendly. It can be so awkward being in a vulnerable state pre-operation, but every single member there made me feel like a part of their family so effortlessly, and I am super grateful that I came across the MACS clinic.
I am now around 2-3 months post both operations, and I am very pleased with the results of the labiaplasty. Doc made it clear from the get-go that it is hard to tell what the outcome of liposuction would be as it is dependent on your elasticity, but even though I have a few months till final results, I can tell there has already been a noticeable difference, and so can others!
My final visit was bittersweet. I am relieved that after years of research, I am finally done and satisfied with the results, but it was sad to know I won't see the staff again. However, it was comforting that the Doc said if I ever have any questions or concerns in the future, then the door is always open for me.
