Mr Abood Is a Consultant Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon. He graduated from Cambridge University and subsequently trained extensively in Plastic Surgical techniques throughout the UK and internationally. He returned to Cambridge to take up an NHS appointment as a Consultant where he currently sub-specialises in microsurgical reconstruction following significant trauma and cancer (Addenbrooke’s Hospital).

As well as a busy NHS practice he has private clinics in Cambridge and London. He is a full member of the British Association of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeons (BAPRAS).

Breast Implants

In my first appointment with Mr Abood, he answered all my questions and explained things in detail. He always had a smile and made me feel so confident. As such, I booked in to have breast augmentation surgery with no doubts! Before the day of surgery, I had a second consultation with Mr Abood so that I could have a detailed discussion about the operation. I was a bit nervous and worried about 2 weeks before the surgery day. I was so glad that Chloe and also the secretary of Mr Abood - Julie- sent me emails from time to time to make sure I was feeling alright, and they shared their experiences with me as well so that I felt more comfortable and ready for the surgery! Once the surgery is done, my pain was gone in two days because Mr Abood has good hands, definitely! I’m so happy with the result and no regrets! (Breast Augmentation procedure).

Biography:

Mr Abood is a consultant plastic & reconstructive surgeon, working both in the NHS and private practice. After graduating from Cambridge University, he undertook his plastic surgery training in some of the leading hospitals in the UK. His training has included prestigious fellowships at centres of excellence in Australia and America. He has been a consultant plastic surgeon at Addenbrookes Hospital Cambridge since 2013,  where he is the lead plastic surgeon for the major trauma service and is an integral member of the skin cancer multidisciplinary team.

Mr Abood founded The Day Clinic in 2023.  His vision for the clinic was the culmination of  many years’ experience across NHS and private healthcare systems. Mr Abood wanted to create a bespoke out-patient facility capable of efficiently diagnosing and treating common healthcare needs in a streamlined and accessible way. The concept evolved through the Covid pandemic, adapting to meet  the changing healthcare needs of the community.
