Direct Healthcare International was formed to meet a demand for low cost surgery using hospitals in Belgium, where the surgical standards are second to none. With this aim in mind we sought to use surgeons that we knew by reputation, CV history, and surgical history. These surgeons in order to qualify to be accepted by Direct Healthcare International Limited need to demonstrate a proven track record and in addition carry out a minimum of 250 surgeries a year in their discipline. Dr. Julian De Silva MBBS, MD is a board certified Oculo-Facial Plastic surgeon, he is an expert on the latest advances in facial cosmetic surgery and does not perform any body plastic surgery. Dr. De Silva studied medicine in London at Guy's, King's & Medical School and qualified in 1999. He went onto work in many Central London Hospitals before fellowship training in London, Los Angeles and New York. During his time in the USA he acquired the latest skills and techniques in facial cosmetic surgery. Dr. De Silva has also led a number of innovations including pioneering research into the use of laser technology and stitch-less tissue adhesives, and developed several novel teaching programs and patents. Dr. De Silva continues to teach and lecture in facial cosmetic surgery in the UK, US and other international conferences.
