I saw Dr Bilal today. He was assisted by Libby, and I must say that I was very impressed, despite feeling a little anxious.
Dr Bilal reassured me and the whole procedure, from giving me the local anaesthetic, having an impacted Wisdom tooth, and a snapped off molar extracted, took less than 10 minutes. I went into the treatment room at 1 pm, and I was on the bus home by 1.16. There was no pain and hardly any bleeding.
If your dentist is hesitant about removing a tooth, ask to be referred to Smilekind.

I was dreading the day I had to have two broken teeth removed (caused by playing with my dog!) but Bilal & Kate very quickly put me at ease with their warm welcome and sense of humour. The whole process was done very quickly and completely without pain - it was almost a pleasant experience!

I have had some bad experiences with dentists in the past and consequently, I’m very nervous (in fact petrified)! I chose Smile Kind as I required specialist surgical treatment not available at my normal general practice dentist. They are on my general practice dentist's list for complex referrals. Also my wife had excellent treatment earlier this year at Smile Kind, to remove a troublesome wisdom tooth.

My treatment was to extract a cracked and infected molar that was beyond repair, followed by a bone graft and associated initial procedures in preparation for a planned implant later this year.

This process, from my initial assessment meeting with Sami and Sarah, the surgery itself last week, and next day post-op follow up phone call were completed with total professionalism and high skill. The surgery site in my jaw is already settling down after several days. Everything was explained in advance, the surgery itself was pain and stress-free, and patient care was exemplary. I was set at ease throughout. Thank you Sami and Sarah.

Excellent dental work and all staff are very caring.

I was terrified about having a large abscessed tooth removed when I arrived at Smilekind in Boscombe. As soon as I arrived my surgeon, Dr. Bilal Fazil, came out shook my hand, and asked if I liked cricket. Odd, but what a different way to relax a clearly anxious patient.

He took the time to explain exactly what he was going to do in a language I understood and continually reassured me it would all be fine. The injections of anesthetic were given painlessly and before I had even realized what was happening Dr. Bilal was showing me the extracted tooth. I needed some stitches, but again this was painless and not uncomfortable at all. He and his nurse Sarah, who kept talking and reassuring me were just amazing and I cannot praise them enough.

If like me you are fearful of the dentist you really don't need to be or have anything to fear with these two. You really will be pleasantly surprised and leave a lot less stressed than when you arrived. I did!

My dental implant surgery went so well. There was no pain at all due to the pain blocking injection, and barely any after it wore off which surprised me as I was expecting a lot! Sami and his team are welcoming and friendly, and I felt that my comfort was of utmost importance to them. They even phoned me the next day to check on how I was feeling. Couldn't be happier.

My hygienist’s appointment went well.

The hygienist was very gentle with the cleaning. Very happy with the results.

I was put at ease. Everything was explained, and staff were very friendly. I normally have fear of dentists, but I will go back without any fear.
