They are a professional, friendly and caring team

5 50 Root Canals

I had to have quite a lot of work done on my teeth including root canal treatment. I have high levels of anxiety and a phobia of needles, I needed to be sedated for the treatment. Contemporary dental were fantastic from start to finish, they were very considerate of my needs and fears. I choose them because they were willing to go the extra mile in helping me get the treatment i needed.

They are a professional, friendly and caring team.

He answered all the questions I had and also spotted an infection I wasn't aware of

5 50 Dental CT • Paid: £240

CT scan. It wasn't cheap but it was less than I expected for a CT scan. It cost £240 or around that sum but it provided a scan/picture of the whole set of teeth. The receptionist was professional, punctual and clear. The dentist who dealt with me was very nice and calm, and he explained everything at every step. He advised me very clearly on what my choices are, and if I get implants somewhere else, what details and model/number/size of the material to look for in case I develop problems later and need help. He answered all the questions I had and also spotted an infection I wasn't aware of. I would go back there because I felt he was knowledgeable but also understanding.

Another great plus is having parking right in front of the clinic.

All staff so polite and caring

5 50 Dentist Consultation, Mouth Guard

5 star treatment as usual. Mark always puts me at ease, as I can be anxious. All staff so polite and caring and look after my 91 year mother extremely well. I got an appointment very quickly as I had a problem with a tooth- sorted whilst there. Advised to wear a mouth guard at night, seems to be working well. Complete confidence in Mark and his skills.

5 50 Dentures

My treatment with Mark Russ was excellent. I have had two visits with Mark in preparation for implants to stabilise a lower denture, however this is on hold following my developing Covid followed by Bronchitis which has left me feeling exhausted. I look forward to the completion of my treatment in the New Year.

Mark purchased Contemporary Dental in April 2019 and has worked around the South and South West of the country, formerly owning two prominent dental practices. After the rapid growth and sale of his Bristol practice, Mark worked for the Army at Lynham Barracks before completing the acquisition of Contemporary Dental. 

Since qualifying from Birmingham University in 1990 he has completed numerous postgraduate courses.

Mark was also a clinical instructor in the Prosthodontic department at Bristol Dental Hospital. He has also started his MSc in Dental Implantology 

which is due to complete in 2023.

Mark is now investing in state-of-the-art equipment and facilities to build on the already exemplary reputation of Contemporary Dental.

Biography:

Christina qualified as a dental therapist in 2014 from the University of Leeds, however she has more than 20 years of experience in the industry having trained as a dental nurse before this. She has an accurate and gentle touch and will carefully clean the parts of your mouth which are difficult for you to reach.

With more than 80% of tooth loss caused by gum disease Christina has a very important role in our practice. She provides expert treatment and advice to help our patients achieve a high standard of oral hygiene, which will contribute to overall health and wellbeing.
