I cannot recommend this clinic highly enoughIan, UK, 05 07 24It's been nearly a year since I returned from Precious Dental having had multiple extractions (including two wisdom teeth), crowns and a bridge fitted. I cannot recommend this clinic highly enough. I am due to return for the first of 5 included annual check ups. I have had no issues whatsoever, not even a single instance of a bleeding gum which used to plague me daily.
I settled on Precious from a list of 30+ clinics in Antalya after a thorough process of elimination and a fair bit of savvy (to eliminate those that just wanted to whip teeth out and shove in all on 4/6 implants as a default option) I narrowed down on a select few to receive quotes from. Ogi from Precious was quick to respond and I found him instantly warm, friendly and knowledgeable. From the outset he would repeatedly state they would never remove a healthy tooth. He was always quick to respond no matter the time of day (I dread to think how many WhatsApp messages were exchanged over a 3-month period!)
The pricing offered was simple to understand for best/worse case scenarios upon an actual physical examination, but that didn't matter as Ogi's initial best-case diagnosis from the outset was the work I ended up having, based initially on on sending multi-angle images of my teeth and then later an xray I had done.
Once we agreed a very reasonable price that included a week at a 4* all inclusive hotel, all airport and hotel/clinic transfers (all on time), all required treatments and drugs, all I had to do was book my flights and send Ogi my flight details.
My driver was waiting at the gate for me and I was at the hotel 20 minutes later. My first appointment at the clinic was next day. Even though Ogi was my sole point of contact throughout deliberations, once at the clinic you become part of the family and everyone looks after you, even the other Coordinators Ozzy, Rey, Derya and Betty who had their own customers to look after. I had a renewed xray, a 3D tomography and physical examination that confirmed Ogi's initial diagnosis was good to go. I was in the chair soon after with the excellent dentist Merve and her assistant Ilknur. The room, in fact the entire premises, were spotlessly clean and sterile, like something from a sci-fi movie.
I can honestly say throughout the entire 3 hour process the only real pain I felt was the initial injections going in, but even they were nowhere near as brutal as here in the UK thanks to numbing spray. I think boredom was the biggest issue I had. Merve would ask me if I was ok literally every couple of minutes. Her english was actually ok, but throughout all my appointments, Ogi or another coordinator would be on hand to help out. Once done I was given antibiotics and pain killers and advised to go back to the hotel and rest. Once the anaesthetic wore off I did feel a bit ropey around the wisdom tooth extraction areas but the next morning I was fine, just a bit of jaw ache from having my mouth propped open so long.
Next day I had some plastic temporary teeth fitted. Considering how low the bar was with my original teeth, I thought these looked amazing and I had no problem eating or drinking with them.
After a day off I was in for a test fitting of my new teeth. The style I chose was on point, but decided against the colour. No problem, colour was adjusted and next day they were in place. My last day was a final check up for some very minor adjustments to the bite and then I was done. Got given some painkillers for the road, and more antibiotics for the wisdom tooth areas, as a precaution.
My airport transfer was 5.45 the next morning and my driver was at reception waiting bang on time.
I'm so glad all my researching led me to Precious. I had friends recommending clinics they went to but from the very start, my gut feeling was strong. Once there I was surprised just how busy they were, obviously another good sign. Longest I had to wait beyond a scheduled appointment time was 20 minutes. It was lovely to meet plenty of other patients at different stages of their treatment both at the clinic and the hotel, not a single one had anything bad to say and were all delighted with their experience. It was lovely to see many happy confetti cannon celebrations for completed treatments.
Will be happy to speak with anyone considering Precious Dental.
