I first heard about Dr. Urzola by a random person in Tamarindo so I did some research and found that he has good reviews. I contacted Urzola's office and got very quick responses and quickly noticed that they seem to be very organized. That kind of organization lets me feel a bit more at-ease. I had already gotten a couple quotes from other implant places in the US so I was aware of US prices and being quoted 1/3 what the US price is for the dental work made it a top contender. Shortly thereafter I talked with Dr. Urzola personally about my personal case and my existing implants and he really made me feel at ease. I flew to San Jose, CR late February and spent a week there. They put me under with anesthesia and it was an excellent choice. It's a general anesthesia but not as deep as going in for a surgery. I had no issues with coming out of the anesthesia which was amazing because I have a history of not remembering where I am or having a difficult time coming out of anesthesia. It was a fantastic experience. I had them do full upper and lower implants which meant removing all my existing teeth but leaving in place my current implant posts so they could be reused into the overall mouth reconstruction. After removing my teeth they made me the temporary set which is essentially a type of dentures that is not removable. I left there with TEETH. Going in I had one tooth on the top of my mouth and I left with teeth! So amazing! My mouth surprisingly didn't hurt so much the first week. Granted, I was on pain killers but I expected more pain. One thing I found really interesting is that Dr. Urzola stitched my gums together after placing some implants under the gums and that seemed to *really* help with healing and keeping food and bacteria out of the sockets. I went back 2 weeks ago and got the finals and WOW! Let me tell you their zirconia finals are GORGEOUS. Seriously terrific! I'll be honest, my second trip hurt more than the first because they had to open up the gums to get to the implants placed under the gums and those hurt because of inflammation when they tighten the implants down to it. It's to be expected and I had them put them on without anesthesia so that I wouldn't be bothered with numb lips. Basically, I didn't have to hurt if I wasn't being vain but I really wanted to see my smile with lips that moved freely. I'm glad I did it this way because it allowed me to feel really comfortable with the fit and really lowered my anxiety even if it hurt (A LOT). If you don't like pain... just have them numb the gums and you'll be far better off. They offered several times... I just turned it down. I did get to see the lab while I was there and I'm really impressed. It really is right next door to their office and the lab is outfitted with everything needed to do the zirconia including the initial blank cutting and the baking of the teeth at 938 degrees F. It was really great being able to see the lab, especially because I'm into 3D printing and I understand how the tooling the lab has works. The whole staff at Urzola Dentistry is fantastic. I was in need of dental work I did tons of research and time and time again I kept coming back to Marietta dental. Now at the time of this review, I’m about halfway through my dental plan And so far so good, I will keep you posted I’ve had 12 root canals two implants and four extractions needless to say it’s been a process. I go back in a few days to wrap things up. All I can say is so far, I’m so pleased with my decision to go with Marietta. Once I’m done I will post my final thoughts and have photos but so far this is the only place I would recommend the place is the very nice clean and wonderful staff. It’s amazing that nowhere in America can one find this type of service at prices one can afford. Don’t take my word for it try them yourself you won’t be disappointed. Well if I could add pics I would they are not Only the best dentists but they’re artists at what they do.

Step 2:prepping for 10 veneers I showed the dentist a picture of what I would like- she and her assistant prepped my teeth and put in temporary veneers for now. I'll go as soon as the real veneers are ready : ) Very excited. I asked a lot of questions- and all of them were answered right away. Also was picked up and dropped off by the dentist and her assistant at the border : ) I will attach a pic from before and after as soon as I get my veneers : )

I can't say enough about these folks. On-time, within budget, excellent service and I have the best teeth I could ever ask for!! The cost was very reasonable, the experience was the best it could be and I am so happy with my new teeth, I just can't stop smiling!!! The process was easy, too. Jumped on a plane, and there was a driver waiting for me at the airport (on a Sunday!) who took me to my hotel. Monday I was in the chair, and by Friday I had fantastic teeth. I had lots of time available to explore Costa Rica. All in all, this was a fantastic process, I would recommend Prisma Dental to any one, even my Mom! :)

The entire staff at Costa Rica Dental Lab could not have been more professional and welcoming. From the attentive and low key driver Sergio to the brilliant senior lab technician Francisco Geovanna has this place running like clockwork. Geovanna will most likely be you Main contact and she is a delight. Dr Cesar has extremely modern and sophisticated equipment in this office. I originally called to talk about all on fours but after consulting with Dr Cesar but they came up with a much cheaper alternative for me. I am absolutely pleased with my entire experience there. I highly recommend this full service clinic and you should do yourself a favor and book an appointment with them right away you won’t be disappointed.

Even though I decided on a different practice, Dr Guerra was extremely helpful throughout. A prompt first-day response, follow-up with excellent explanations and information. His diligence was and is greatly appreciated.

We felt comfortable with this dentist, so I had my root canals done here. I paid the price listed on the website. There were no follow-ups for the root canal, but we might return in September for more treatment. It’s a small clinic, but Dr Erick was very friendly and accommodating. He wasn’t trying to get us to do more work than what was needed. In fact, we had to convince him to do some of the procedures. He was great and very upfront with us.

I had a really great experience at Denti Vitale. The facility is very clean. It was no fuss. I had composite fillings put on to my front teeth. I had many dentist tell me no, that I need canine to canine veneers. I did not want to get veneers because your teeth are shaven down when you get veneers. Denti did not question or oppose my wishes. The procedure was also very quick, all done within 30 minutes. I am happy with the results. I will most likely come back here when it is time to redo them.

This clinic is excellent. I have experience with visiting dentists in many countries. The office was conveniently located a very short walk from the pedestrian border crossing and a staff member met me to show me the way. From the first phone call to walking out the door after my first visit, I was treated with kindness and respect. All of the staff were pleasant, helpful and bilingual. I did not feel rushed. Dr. Chavez was thoughtful, honest, and clear in his explanations for my treatment plan taking the time to make sure I understood the procedures and the pros and cons. The office and treatment rooms were immaculate utilizing the most modern equipment and the doctor and staff followed strict hygiene protocols. I had minor procedures, a cleaning, filling and diagnostic x-rays, and will follow up with more extensive procedures. TIP: If you are walking across the border and have global entry/ SENTRI, don’t forget your card. Walking back is a little tricky. I finally asked someone who looked like they knew. Stay to the left of the main line and continue to walk to the border gates. The locals expect this and most importantly there are NO signs to guide you. Border crossings are all a little different and that’s how it’s done at Nogales.

Had a dental cleaning, root canal, filling and crown done here. Very friendly and courteous and knowledgeable staff and dentists working here. Very clean office. Definitely recommend and will be returning for other work I need to be done.

They offered me an appointment quickly after making contact via WhatsApp. I had a loose crown which was fixed during the consultation so no need for another appointment.
