Dental Solutions CR Highly recommended if you want to have the best smile. I left from Costa Rica a few years ago, but I had to come back to take care of my smile that is very important for me. There is not a better place to do it if you put in a balanced price and quality. Dental Solutions had the best package for all my dental treatment, including all the professional and friendly treatment that I got. I'm a happy patient.

When a tooth is missing, a three-unit bridge can be a good choice for replacing it. In a three-unit bridge, an artificial tooth is connected on each end to crowns. The crowns are placed over the neighboring teeth to hold the bridge in place. A three-unit bridge can be made of gold, porcelain, or porcelain fused-to-metal.

They are professional, compassionate and most importantly genuineDenis, Ottawa, 10 09 17

My teeth were in poor condition from years of sports, smoking and neglect. After obtaining different quotes and treatment options including implants in Canada, all unaffordable, I decided to research medical tourism. Costa Rica came highly recommended. Dr. Gadea 's clinic stood out for me including previous testimonials. I contacted the clinic and received a quick response. Juan instructed me to forward my panoramic X-ray and Dr. Gadea himself called me back. We discussed my detailed treatment plan that had been e-mailed to me. His knowledge, genuine interest, and reassuring nature convinced me to move forward. Juan made all the arrangements including picking us up at the airport after a 2 day weather delay. Everything was rearranged. Nervously walking into the clinic I was immediately impressed. Laura warmly welcomed us. Returning patients from New York began extolling how they LOVED Dr. Gadea and that I had made a great choice. After an examination and scan using modern equipment, Dr. Gadea excitedly informed me that I didn't need to lose all of my remaining teeth. We reworked a treatment plan with implants, crowns and a temporary bridge. After the surgery, I was pain-free with no swelling. I saved a minimum 40% from the different quotes I received in Canada. I can't say enough about my experience with Dr. Gadea and his staff. They are professional, accommodating, compassionate and most importantly they are genuine. They really do care. Looking forward to returning to beautiful Costa Rica soon for my new teeth. Thank you again, Dr. Gadea. Excellent.

I am very happy with the quality of the work, the professionalism of the doctors and staffKelly, US, 02 07 19

I needed implants when I broke a 6 tooth bridge. I completed the first part of my dental work in January and returned in May 2019 to complete the process. I am very happy with the quality of the work, the professionalism of the doctors and staff and the friendliness as well. It was spotlessly clean. Having transportation provided was icing on the cake. I highly recommend Dr Juan and Dr Aurora. All my questions were answered, before and during the process. Their pricing allowed me to have 2 vacations in Cancun and get my dental work done for a little over one-third of what it was quoted to me in Texas (including transportation and lodging).

Dental partials. This is a no-nonsense professional dentist. She performs only the work necessary and doesn't try to sell you unnecessary services (unlike the US.A). You are promptly seen and attended to at your scheduled time (also unlike the U.S.A). My work was performed at about 20% of the cost I would have paid for in Florida. Thank You (gracias) Doctor Luz Marely Garcia Alvarez!

I have not had any issues and don't expect I willMrs_Charlene, Canada, 03 04 18

I had major dental work done on several occasions in Canada at a cost of well over 50K. Each time the work failed, so I found myself back at a periodontist now having to resort to dental implants. I had one done at a cost of 6K and so far, all is well. I knew it was inevitable that I would need several more implants. I was sharing my story with a friend, she told me that she and her husband had been having their dental work done in Mexico for years due to the quality and at a fraction of what it costs in Canada. My first reaction was "are you kidding me"! My husband and I then did a bit of research online, reading various reviews and testimonies of others from Canada and the US that had work done in Mexico. We did not see one negative comment. We soon discovered other friends and friends of friends also had their work done in Mexico. They were very pleased with the outcome and the cost. We wanted to have the work done in Puerto Vallarta, as we generally travel there once a year for vacation. We called a couple clinics and chose the one we did because they were prompt to contact us. The office Manager spoke very good English so language was not a barrier. My treatment is ongoing but on my first trip (with treatment over three days) I had 10 implants, 6 extractions and 6 root canals. The cost of 10 implants alone in Canada would have been 60K. We chose Dr Leticia Armas Tejeda's clinic located at Plaza Marina because of the quick response to our inquiry and the fact that Jose, the Office Manager, spoke very good English. We communicated via text and email without any difficulty. I was picked up at the Hotel by Jose and taken to the clinic where I met Dr Leticia who is lovely. A major plus for this clinic is Dr Karen. She too speaks amazing English and was so very helpful and caring. You can imagine how nervous I was but she was with me through each treatment explaining what was going on. They have a team of specialists doing each procedure. She even went as far as to go to the pharmacy with us, to make sure we got what we needed because we only speak Poquito Spanish. I will return on the 31st of October 2018, to have the crowns and bridges completed. Dr Karen keeps in touch getting updates on how I am doing. I have not had any issues and don't expect I will.

During the first visit for getting a dental bridge, the abutment teeth are prepared. Preparation involves recontouring these teeth by removing a portion of enamel to allow room for a crown to be placed over them. Next, impressions of your teeth are made, which serve as a model from which the bridge, pontic, and crowns will be made by a dental laboratory. Your dentist will make a temporary bridge for you to wear to protect the exposed teeth and gums while your bridge is being made. During the second visit, your temporary bridge will be removed and the new permanent bridge will be checked and adjusted, as necessary, to achieve a proper fit. Multiple visits may be required to check the fit of the metal framework and bite. This is dependent on each individuals case. If the dental bridge is a fixed (permanent) bridge, your dentist may temporarily cement it in place for a couple of weeks to make sure it is fitting properly. After a couple weeks, the bridge is permanently cemented into place.
3-Unit Bridge $450 - $1200
A bridge, also known as a fixed partial denture, is a dental restoration used to replace a missing tooth by joining permanently to adjacent teeth or dental implants. Types of bridges may vary, depending upon how they are fabricated and the way they anchor to the adjacent teeth. Conventionally, bridges are made using the indirect method of restoration. However, bridges can be fabricated directly in the mouth using such materials as composite resin. A bridge is fabricated by reducing the teeth on either side of the missing tooth or teeth by a preparation pattern determined by the location of the teeth and by the material from which the bridge is fabricated. In other words, the abutment teeth are reduced in size to accommodate the material to be used to restore the size and shape of the original teeth in a correct alignment and contact with the opposing teeth. The dimensions of the bridge are defined by Antes Law: "The root surface area of the abutment teeth has to equal or surpass that of the teeth being replaced with pontics".[1] The materials used for the bridges include gold, porcelain fused to metal, or in the correct situation porcelain alone. The amount and type of reduction done to the abutment teeth varies slightly with the different materials used. The recipient of such a bridge must be careful to clean well under this prosthesis. When restoring an edentulous space with a fixed partial denture that will crown the teeth adjacent to the space and bridge the gap with a pontic, or "dummy tooth", the restoration is referred to as a bridge. Besides all of the preceding information that concerns single-unit crowns, bridges possess a few additional considerations when it comes to case selection and treatment planning, tooth preparation and restoration fabrication.
Permanent Bridge $450 - $1200
Dental bridges are false teeth, which are anchored onto neighbouring teeth in order to replace one or more . The false tooth is known as a pontic and is fused in between   that serve as anchors by attaching to the teeth on each side of the false tooth, thereby bridging them together.

Root canal, crown, some filings and a deep cleaning. The clinic was great. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. I was a bit concerned about language barriers as I am from the US, but it was not an issue at all. The quality of service was top notch. I would recommend them to anyone considering dental tourism.

A Dental Bridge literally bridges the gap that is left by one or more missing teeth. A bridge can be made up of two or more dental crowns on either side of the gap with a false tooth or teeth in between. The false teeth are normally made of porcelain, or a composite material such as E-MAX. They are an economical way of replacing missing teeth.
