If you're ever in need of a fantastic dentist, I highly recommend coming to San Jose, Costa Rica! After losing my front teeth and neighboring tooth in an accident at age 11, I've undergone numerous operations and tried almost every possible dental treatment by age 37. I've had to replace my front teeth every 10 years or so, especially during my younger years when I was still growing. I've been with Dr. Jehoavas Rafa for a couple of years now, and he's the first dentist who not only does a technically great job but also considers aesthetics - which is super rare, believe me! Highly recommend Dr. Jehoavas Rafa for professional and cosmetic treatment - he's one of the best dentists I've ever experienced!!

My experience with Prostho Studio was a wonderful experience. I have a fear of dentists and the doctor and his assistant made me very comfortable. I had no pain as I got my numbing injections. My experience began with research and ended with choosing RD Dental first because of their quick response and pricing (not the cheapest). They answered all my questions quickly. Yes, I was nervous about going into the unknown—from Canada to get implants—but the savings helped considerably! My sister and I flew into Phoenix, where we were quickly picked up by Jesus and Rossel from the clinic. We felt very comfortable right from the start! After a few stops in Yuma for lunch and coffee, the border crossing was so easy! They took us to the Hotel California, made sure we were checked in, and confirmed our appointment for the next day at 9 a.m. The hotel was ‘quaint’—nothing fancy, but clean, with air conditioning and a convenient café (great coffee and fresh donuts every day) and restaurant. The clinic also provided transport every day to and from the clinic if we wanted it. My first appointment went well. I initially planned for six implants, but after consulting with the dentist and reviewing the scans, I ended up getting eight implants, two root canals with crowns, an extraction, whitening, and, of course, a cleaning. After lunch at the adjoining restaurant, I went for the two root canals. Let me just say—if I had had two root canals at home, my mouth would have been sore for at least three days. Not here! The dentist numbed just enough, and we were able to enjoy the rest of our afternoon. The next day included scans, crown fittings, whitening, and cleaning—thank you to Dr. Irma Barcia! She was gentle and quick. There was a lot of waiting around, but patience is key—it’s ‘Mexican time.’ The next day was the implants. Dr. Irma fitted the crowns, and then I saw Dr. Hector Manchvil (spelling?), the implant specialist. I was so nervous, but wow—he did an awesome job. Three hours later, I was walking out! While walking around Los Algodones, I saw numerous people with a lot of bruising—but not with Dr. Hector. I went back the next day, and there was very little swelling and no bruising. The following day was for recovery, and then on Friday, Mariela (the owner of both the dental clinic and restaurant) and Rossel drove us back to Phoenix. I know this was long, but I am looking forward to returning in September to finish up with the crowns. The whole crew here was fabulous! I can’t forget about Ivan at the front counter, the dental assistants, and the waitresses at the restaurant! I highly recommend RD Dental. I’ve been seeing Dr. Morales for years now, and I can honestly say he’s the absolute best! I used to have a fear of going to the dentist, but Dr. Morales completely took that fear away. He is gentle, highly skilled and a genuinely nice person. Dr. Morales has done root canals, crowns, and fillings for me, and I have always felt totally comfortable in his care. He also has never tried to upsell or recommend anything unnecessary, which I really appreciate. But not only Dr. Morales, the entire team at CME Dental is great. They are friendly, professional, and super helpful. Francisco helped me arrange the hotel accommodation in Los Algodones and picked me up from the airport in Yuma. He was always checking in and offering to help with anything I needed. I remember feeling totally overwhelmed with the choice of dentists, when I first came to Los Algodones, but I was lucky to find Dr. Morales. Now I will not go anywhere else.

Zahid, who was the appointment coordinator did a wonderful job. Dr Gonzalo Gallegos diagnosed my problem in a tooth that had a ceramic filling, which he replaced in less than an hour. I went to see Dr. Gallegos thinking that I was in need of a root canal on the tooth next to the tooth that Dr. Gallegos so skillfully identified as the problem. This tooth pain was diagnosed as Trigeminal Neuralgia in the US by an endodontic evaluation together with a DDS and a Primary Physician evaluations. I am happy to have met Dr.Gallegos and Zahid in my life travels. Dr. Gonzalo Gallegos I owe you a debt of gratitude... Thank you! you went beyond my expectations.

I recently visited Costa Rica dental clinic lab for new transplants, cleaning, and a crown procedure.
