Dr. Urzola is not only a remarkably skilled professional but a deeply compassionate human being. I underwent multiple extractions and implants—procedures that would typically leave me riddled with complete anxiety—but he approached each step with an extraordinary level of gentleness, patience, and care. He took the time to explain everything thoroughly, never rushing, and always ensuring I felt safe and informed. His bedside manner is unmatched, and his confidence and precision put me completely at ease.

But this review would be incomplete without highlighting two truly wonderful members of his team: Cristina, the coordinator, and Beatriz, the warm and attentive dental concierge. Cristine was my guiding light from day one—organizing everything seamlessly, answering all my questions, and providing ongoing support throughout my treatment. Beatriz made me feel welcome every single day, as though I were part of a family rather than just a patient. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine concern for my comfort and well-being were beyond anything I have ever experienced in a medical setting.

The rest of the staff also deserves praise—they are friendly, professional, and clearly passionate about the work they do. The entire team works together like a well-oiled machine, with an atmosphere of calm, dignity, and kindness that sets this clinic apart.

And then, there’s the pricing. Compared to the astronomical costs quoted by U.S. dentists, the fairness and transparency of Dr. Urzola’s rates were astonishing. Not only did I receive top-tier, world-class care, but I did so without the financial burden that so often comes with quality dental work in the United States.

After struggling for many years with broken teeth and an exorbitant estimate from American dentists, I came across Urzola Dental in Costa Rica. I was able to talk directly with Dr Urzola and was impressed that he recommended a very reasonable course of action at a fraction of the U.S. cost. I was able to fly there to do the work and take a vacation for much less than the US price.

I have required services from Dr Esteban Dentistry twice and am convinced the service is second to none. Dr Irzola is extremely professional and cares about providing the best product at an affordable price. The entire office spoke fluent English, including Dr Urzola and the entire dental staff. Visiting from Oklahoma to Dr Urzola’s is far less expensiv, even after including airfare and hotel stay than in the U.S. I am amazed at the look of my bridge work.

Dr. Esteban has created a wonderful environment and team. The dentists speak incredible English and did everything to make me comfortable. Super high-tech office. We met to plan and review each step. He wants his patients happy! The fact that he has his own lab on-site makes the process much quicker and he guarantees his crowns for life.

A medical condition of thirty-plus years meant my top teeth were left with no enamel. I was facing emergency dental work over and o er in the near future. the only affordable option I had in the States was to remove my teeth and have dentures

So, I turned to Costa Rica and found Dr.Urzola. Ionly did the top teeth this time because of cost. I needed one root canal and twelve crowns. I was told by my US denstist it would cost betweek 20 to 30K, depending on what they found when they went in.

With Urzola dentistry, I was quoted $5700 from the beginning for top-of-the-line Zirconia crowns and that was my final total.

Oh, and i am in process on one titanium implant. He charged $800 to set the post and the crown will be $500. That' only $1300 total

They really offer concierge service and will book you a car from the airport, arrange a hotel room that is less than a block away, and even offer laundry service.

And you can see a bit of beautiful Costa Rica while you get your teeth fixed!

It’s so very hard to explain how delighted both my wife and myself are! Christina was the backbone of our success. She was ALWAYS available to answer or coordinate this process no matter how much it involved or how long it took. After finally getting here, oh my gosh. The good doctor is so professional and personable. Never rushed and completely satisfied and within 3 days I am a new man after years of dental issues. Once you arrive you are met flawlessly with a driver at the airport and transported to the Holiday Inn next to the clinic. Everything you possibly need is within this complex and a safe, clean place.

We came here with referrals from 2 different friends from the island of Stx. Price wise is a fraction of the state side dental prices. I also am a Rn with years of surgical experience and am very meticulous about safety and procedures and found the entire team and office at 100%!

I went to Dr Esteban for implants and some new teeth. It was an amazing experience. Everyone was so nice and so professional. The surgery went well I chose to get IV sedation. The anesthesiologist was great, and I had my temporary teeth in three days.

After that, I was able to eat immediately on most things. That was amazing if you need any work, I would recommend them highly. And the prices were even better. Have the best day ever. Call today for an appointment. I was recommended by one of my friends who has been there for 15 years and his whole family.

Dr. Esteban Urzola and his entire staff was amazing! I had originally planned to have All on 6 uppers and lowers done but after the first consultation he suggested we go a different route since I had many good teeth left. I am so glad I took his advice and recommendations of 4 implants and 22 crowns!

He is very professional, knowledgeable and caring for your long-term needs, looks and overall comfort! Although we opted to stay at another hotel nearby, we missed out on the amazing hotel they offer next door with many, many great food and shopping experiences right next to the dental office. Don’t be discouraged by the Holiday Inn Express name, the hotel is very nice and so convenient to the office.

Cristina is an absolutely amazing coordinator for all appointments, hotel stays and transportation! If she recommends it, please follow her advice! You won’t be disappointed at all!

The trip to Costa Rica from Florida has been awesome and I look forward to returning in 4 months for my permanents. I highly recommend Dr. Esteban Urzola for any dental needs!

Pura Vida!!

I saw Dr. Urzola in April of 2025 (this year as I type). I can not say enough good things about him or his team or the level of organisation and care received. They have the perfect set-up for patients travelling to see them. Our time there, went off without a hitch. As for the actual dental care, Dr. Urzola was very careful to spend time explaining everything being done and answering questions. He was very patient and caring. This is a first-class operation from the top to the bottom. Absolutely no regrets and would absolutely recommend them to anyone who asks.

After an accident, I was left with a mess. After years of dental procedures and problems of nearly every kind, I was down to 9 teeth and no molars. Dr. Urzola extracted the remaining 9 and installed 12 implants, 6 up and 6 down. It took several days for me to recover enough to be fitted with full acrylic arches but all went well. The arches look amazing and everything is healing well, now two months out. I plan to upgrade from the acrylic to zirconia in a few months. Looking forward to returning to Costa Rica. Make no mistake, though, this is serious work and, under the wrong circumstances, would be very, very painful.

Dr. Urzola and his team worked very hard to make sure I had what I needed to mitigate any major discomfort. Yes, after surgery it still hurt some and, yes, there was discomfort, but all of that was to be expected, was expected and was managed. So thankful for finding Dr. Urzola and his team. Such a blessing!

I called Urzola Dentistry because my wife needed a root canal, etc., and I also told them about the difficulty I was having with the temporary upper dentures given to me by my Turkish dentist after getting an All-on-6 implant procedure. The Urzola Clinic told me they would adjust it for me at no charge, as they have a lab on the premises.

That was the first positive impression.

When we arrived at their office, Dr. Urzola tested my temporary dentures in my mouth and also checked the first phase of my dental implants. He told me they could match the same zirconium crowns, abutments, etc., as I would be getting in Turkey — and match the price too. This saved me 18 hours of flights both ways, plus travel costs. Needless to say, I agreed and am very happy.

As for my wife’s dental work — it was done professionally and at a reasonable cost.

The phone contact associate, Christina, and the office coordinator, Beatriz, are extremely helpful and professional at their jobs.

All in all, we are highly recommending Urzola Dentistry. 😊
