Well, I’m headed back to The Airport now and honestly don’t want to leave Dr. Funes and his amazing and wonderful staff. I’ve been putting off my dental work for about 20 years. I’ve been in pain, needing teeth pulled. I had gum disease, missing teeth, broken teeth and gaps all over. Finally, I decided it was time to take care of my mouth. I flew into San Diego on Sunday night. They had a driver waiting for me, he took me to the Marriott hotel in TJ About 1/2 mile from the office. Monday was X-rays and impressions, Tuesday they extracted 8 bottom teeth and installed 5 implants, Wednesday they pulled all my top teeth, did the bone graft and installed 6 more implants. I honestly have not experienced any pain thus far and I’m headed home with a big smile. I’m just wearing dentures they gave me but they look better than my smile ever did. Man I can’t wait to come back for my crowns and full mouth restoration. What a wonderful experience.

I had 2 root canals and 2 crowns they did a great job. 2 teeth were pulled with no pain. Again did a great job. So glad I chose CARE Smile Center. They were very friendly and made me feel very comfortable. Planning another trip to finish the rest of the work needed on my teeth.

Thank you for inquiring. I had a root canal and bridge at PATZI. I was happy with the service I received from Dr Stephanie. I do have a question for the doctor who performed the root canal. There was an infection and was prescribed medication and returned a week later for the root canal. There was still some pain in the root canal area. I was given more medication following the procedure. This pain although minor persists. I have been travelling and have not been able to see another dentist. Based on this information do you feel I should contact another dentist for further evaluation? I appreciate your advice.

My experience with Prostho Studio was a wonderful experience. I have a fear of dentists and the doctor and his assistant made me very comfortable. I had no pain as I got my numbing injections. My work was done professionally and without pain. I would highly recommend this office to everyone. I will be going back in the fall for a bridge and a couple of more crowns. Thank you, Dr.

My experience began with research and ended with choosing RD Dental first because of their quick response and pricing (not the cheapest). They answered all my questions quickly. Yes, I was nervous about going into the unknown—from Canada to get implants—but the savings helped considerably! My sister and I flew into Phoenix, where we were quickly picked up by Jesus and Rossel from the clinic. We felt very comfortable right from the start! After a few stops in Yuma for lunch and coffee, the border crossing was so easy! They took us to the Hotel California, made sure we were checked in, and confirmed our appointment for the next day at 9 a.m. The hotel was ‘quaint’—nothing fancy, but clean, with air conditioning and a convenient café (great coffee and fresh donuts every day) and restaurant. The clinic also provided transport every day to and from the clinic if we wanted it. My first appointment went well. I initially planned for six implants, but after consulting with the dentist and reviewing the scans, I ended up getting eight implants, two root canals with crowns, an extraction, whitening, and, of course, a cleaning. After lunch at the adjoining restaurant, I went for the two root canals. Let me just say—if I had had two root canals at home, my mouth would have been sore for at least three days. Not here! The dentist numbed just enough, and we were able to enjoy the rest of our afternoon. The next day included scans, crown fittings, whitening, and cleaning—thank you to Dr. Irma Barcia! She was gentle and quick. There was a lot of waiting around, but patience is key—it’s ‘Mexican time.’ The next day was the implants. Dr. Irma fitted the crowns, and then I saw Dr. Hector Manchvil (spelling?), the implant specialist. I was so nervous, but wow—he did an awesome job. Three hours later, I was walking out! While walking around Los Algodones, I saw numerous people with a lot of bruising—but not with Dr. Hector. I went back the next day, and there was very little swelling and no bruising. The following day was for recovery, and then on Friday, Mariela (the owner of both the dental clinic and restaurant) and Rossel drove us back to Phoenix. I know this was long, but I am looking forward to returning in September to finish up with the crowns. The whole crew here was fabulous! I can’t forget about Ivan at the front counter, the dental assistants, and the waitresses at the restaurant! I highly recommend RD Dental. I needed 5 implants and a bone graft. My periodontist here in Ohio quoted the price of a luxury SUV. After an extensive research I chose Salazar Dental Center. I was there for a week. South Padre Island is an hour away which made it a Dental get away. The staff is outstanding, courteous and knowledgeable. The clinic is state-of-the-art. I was able to view my procedures on monitors. They have their own lab and pharmacy. Doctor Salazar is a perfectionist. His bed side manner made me comfortable and gave me complete confidence in his ability. I also decided on veneers and teeth whitening. Cannot be happier with my choice and outcome. I am 71yrs old and had lost a bridge, one front tooth that was broken and missing also missing molar. I had a consultation with Dr Espinoza over zoom and made an appointment. The in-person meeting gave us a treatment plan that was decided to do all on 6 full mouth implants. The surgery went great, I have had no pain, just typical swelling and bruising which dissipated within 10 days. It's been 5 1/2 weeks since surgery, gums are healing great, upper sutures basically dissolved the lower gums a little longer. Dr Espinoza was a little concerned about some bone density and the ability of the bone to solidly adhere to the implants so he's going to scan after 3 months to see how they are progressing. Had bone grafts done also. This procedure is more than half of US prices, I couldn't afford it otherwise, the work needed to be done. The staff is very helpful and polite you can't go wrong with Perfect Smile. I am still a work in progress and will update you on progress.
