What is a Non-Surgical Nose Job?

Non-surgical nose jobs are performed to augment or reshape the nose of patients using anti-aging injectables including injectable fillers and muscle relaxants. The fillers used include hyaluronic acid, liquid silicone, polyacrylamide gel, calcium hydroxyapatite and polymethylmethacrylate. The procedure takes thirty to sixty minutes to perform. The procedure is used to make minor alterations to the nose. The procedure is not suitable to reduce a large nose.The results last for about one year.    

How is a Non-Surgical Nose Job performed?

Numbing cream is applied on the area to be corrected. The appropriate filler is then injected into the skin near or on the nose. Numbing cream will not be applied if the injectable fillers include a freezing agent called lidocaine.

Are Non-Surgical Nose Jobs painful?

Non-surgical nose jobs are performed after applying numbing cream. Some injectables used have a freezing agent. Patients will feel comfortable and will not feel any pain during a non-surgical nose job procedure.

Patients should take all prescribed medications correctly. Patients should not wear spectacles for a week or so after a non-surgical nose job, or until the area is no longer sensitive. They should sleep on their backs with their head elevated till the swelling comes down. They should not expose the treated area to extreme heat or cold for at least two days.

My journey has been complicated by middle age rosacea however between us we’ve worked through all of that along with anti-ageing support of tiny fillers around the mouth and chin to eliminate the chin bobbling that comes with middle age with support of small fillers around the mouth every 3 months or so I look and feel about 40 even though I’m 62!

Dr. Will Anderson explained everything clearly and put me at ease from the consultation onwards. On the day, Damien greeted me by name (he’s definitely my “fairy godmother” of the day!) and made me feel welcome straight away. Joanna, my anaesthetist, and Piel in surgery were so friendly and reassuring, which kept me calm. When I woke up, Isabella was by my side, making sure I was comfortable and cared for. Everyone went above and beyond, and despite my anxiety, I felt completely supported. Highly recommend.
